So here I am.  My 2nd attempt at starting a blog.  The first one is floating around in cyberspace on some other server/website (or whatever it is).  I keep hearing about blogs and it just keeps drawing me in for some reason.  Maybe it's because for nearly 15 years (or more) of my life I faithfully journaled (or wrote in a diary) every single night.  From jr. high until when I got married I kept a diary and wrote everything down.  I have gotten away from journaling on a regular basis, although I do pull out the diary every now and again to write down those precious mommy moments and to keep track of those horomone-induced preggo thoughts.
    Well, what makes me think I'll spend much time here?  Will this become some long forgotten blog (as I'm sure there are millions of them out there--my first one included!)?  Or will I make myself frequent this little space of the superhighway.
    I have no idea.  I do know that I had better not spend much time on this endeavor.  I already feel as if I spend too much time sitting in front of this screen reading e-mail, browsing websites, reading message boards, researching just about everything, and keeping tabs on eBay.
    We'll see how this goes.  I won't even "invite" people over here until I know what I'm doing.  So this lonely little entry will have to suffice as a starting point.  Maybe next I'll do a much more formal introduction of my little haven and home.
