Graduation

Two of my best friends have daughters graduation from high school tonight.  Caity has finished the homeschooling journey.  She is a delightful, talented girl.  She already has plans for her future career as a photographer  made in such a way as she can be the wife and mother God wants her to be.  I am blessed for knowing her.

Sha also is a sweet girl.  She's already found her true love; in fact, they were married in January after she finished her course work at the high school.   She too was homeschooled up until 9th grade.  That foundation really makes a difference.  I enjoy knowing her.

My son will be graduating in a year or two.  It just doesn't seem possible that our time with him home will be coming to an end before we know it.  He's been going to public school for the last year and a half.  It wasn't what I wanted; but, it seemed best for him and our family.

Cherish the time you have with your young ones and your older ones.  It does truly go quickly.  May God bless you all!

About Me

I've been blogging over on wordpress for awhile. I love it. My kids are really interested in my blog; so, I decided to let them help me blog. I thought this might encourage thought about scriptures, copywork/typing skills, and writing skills; hence, my kids will be blogging with Momma. Some of the entries will be from me; some of the entries will be from my children and me. We'll just see how this all develops. We're rather eclectic in our homeschooling. We use elements of Sonlight, Charlotte Mason, a text book or two, and some unschooling. Whatever works is what we try to do.
