JOHN 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only son, so that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have ever lasting life.

                     JOHN 3:16

Hi,

My name is Emily, and I would like to share my testimony with you.

O.K. so I guess I should start at the beginning. Well, a few weeks ago I went a VBS, and my teacher kept on telling us she was praying for us ( the ones in the class that where not Christians yet).

Well, I've asked Jesus into my heart 2 times before  but I  don't think I was sincere then.

So, I asked my  teacher to pray for me, because I didn't feel like I had Him in my grasp, if you know what I mean.

So the next day, June 19 2008, I got saved! I told Him I needed Him a lot. And the next day I found out  that some of the other girls had asked Jesus into their hearts, too.

So, that's how I became a Christian.

                               Emily

This is what my mom thinks about it.

I am happier than anything else can make me.  This is what I've wanted most for you Emily since before you were born.  Praise God!

I am so excited for you Emily. Your momma is too!
Wow, first of all my birthday is on July 19th. Now I know that the angels were singing and rejoicing in heaven for you on my birthday! : D

Second, my daughter Emily is 4 and she went to her first V BS this year and learned alot ab out Jesus : )

I will be so excited when she accepts Christ. My older daughter, 12, and son, 11, are also Christian and love the Lord.

I just found your blog today and look forward to reading more about your lovely self and your family.

May the Lord bless and keep you,

About Me

I've been blogging over on wordpress for awhile. I love it. My kids are really interested in my blog; so, I decided to let them help me blog. I thought this might encourage thought about scriptures, copywork/typing skills, and writing skills; hence, my kids will be blogging with Momma. Some of the entries will be from me; some of the entries will be from my children and me. We'll just see how this all develops. We're rather eclectic in our homeschooling. We use elements of Sonlight, Charlotte Mason, a text book or two, and some unschooling. Whatever works is what we try to do.
