Our 24th Year

Nov. 19, 2006 - HAVE YOU EVER...

My answers are in gray:

01. Seen the Grand Canyon
02. Swam with wild dolphins
03. Climbed a mountain--no, but does rock climbing count?  Oh, how I loved it!  The place I used to climb was along the Ocean.  The beauty of the rocks polished by the surf, the swirling of the waves as they were caught in little caves they had carved out of the rock.  Glorious!
04. Taken a Ferrari for a test drive
05. Been inside the Great Pyramid
06. Held a tarantula
07. Taken a candlelit bath

09. Hugged a tree
10. Bungee jumped
11. Visited Paris
12. Watched a lightning storm at sea
13. Stayed up all night long and saw the sun rise--I do this at least once a month.  I am a night owl.  Night is when I have my best times with the L-rd.
14. Seen the Northern Lights--There was a year when for one night they could be seen from Rhode Island, where I was living at the time.
15. Gone to a huge sports game--how about a televised gymnastics competition?  Also, Sam, Hannah and Jesse were in a national Martial Arts competition; they came in third (Demo Team).  I missed Grace's national gymanstics competition because of a snowstorm.  She had to go up before us, and when we left the next day it was snowing.  It turned into a snow storm, and they closed the interstate--we had to turn around and come back.
16. Walked the stairs to the top of the leaning Tower of Pisa
17. Grown and eaten your own vegetables--there is nothing better.  I have also grown my own strawberries.  I love having my own garden.
18. Touched an iceberg
19. Slept under the stars--ugh, yes!  I am not a "camp out" type person.  Give me a nice room with a warm shower and a soft bed.
