Sep. 7, 2009 -
Well it is Sunday night and I should be in bed. I have to get up early and start my day. I hope now that we have a new computer that works faster I can began to blog again. Life is good and I see that it has been awhile my girls are much older and look different. Pray tomorrow brings me closer to God and His purpose for my life. I want to leave a little bit of Jesus where ever I go. This is my life and I am loving it!
Oct. 31, 2008 - *Title Goes Here*
I know it's been a long time since I last blogged, but I'm really not that into it anymore. I've been so busy with trying to juggle so many activities and stuff that I can never find the time to update my blog or comment on friends blogs.
I did have the time to change my blog design though and it took me about 3 days to finish it.
So, what is everyone doing for Halloween?
I'm going to be going over to a party at my friends house so that should be fun. I don't really do the costume or the trick-or-treat thing anymore. Usually I just hand out candy to little kids who come to our house.
I dyed my hair on Wednesday. I've never dyed my hair before but I thought I would try it and see if I liked it or not. It turned out really dark and it looks black. I'll probably post some pictures in the next few days.
Let's see. In school I've been listening to CD's on the French Revolution and I am almost done with my 11th grade curriculum. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it before Christmas and start on the 12th grade curriculum.
I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but it's always been my goal to finish all of my school curriculum and go to Technical College in my 12th grade year since the State will pay for my tuition and books. I'll probably go into something like Web Design since I love experimenting with HTML and stuff like that.
Well that's all for now. Hope everyone has a good Halloween!!

Sep. 4, 2008 - Oh we're going to the Fair, fair, fair.......
Well we went to the MN State Fair last Thursday and it was a blast! I made a commitment to eat the weirdest food I could find....I was going to try the chocolate covered bacon but I decided to try alligator instead. Suprisingly it was very good....it was kind of chewy but it tasted like chicken otherwise......
Beverly had a lot of fun when we went through the little kids barn where you got to learn about different animals and stuff. She really enjoyed driving the John Deere tractor....
And David? David was playing his air guitar while we were waiting for the skateboard show to start.
I must say that the highlight of the day was when my dad and I went on the Skyscraper.
I had been planning to go on this ride for two years but kept chickening out....this year I decided to actually go. Sorry we couldn't get a picture of the whole ride but you can virtually experience it on this video from youtube. I think it was definitly worth it. I had a blast!
This was taken at the end of the day when we were riding the bus back to where the van was parked. And in case you're wondering David has cotton candy all over his face.....
Aug. 26, 2008 - I Know.....It's Amazing That I Actually Updated My Blog.....
Sorry to everyone for not updating my blog in so long but life has been kinda hectic. It will probably take me awhile to catch up on all my comments and everyone's new blog entries but I'll make a point of spending a couple of minutes each day on my blog....and I'll try to write more often.
Let's see....since the last time I wrote I went to a family reunion at the beginning of August. It was at my aunt and uncle's house on the lake. David and Beverly got to go swimming for the first time in their lives and they had a blast! They also got to go to the County Fair and rode some rides.
I started school about two weeks ago and I am currently studying the American Revolution and the founding of America.
On Thursday we're all going to the State Fair so that should be fun.....well thats all for now.

Monday, July 14, 2008 - Change of Address Card
I can hardly believe it's true. I've been packing boxes for weeks now. I've been here for two and one-half years now, so I've accumulated a lot of stuff.
I've had a great time reading through 854 entries, starting back in the fall of 2005. I've remembered funny stories, a few sad events, some struggles, a whole lot of joy in the daily slices of life in our own Small World.
For several weeks now, I've been discarding a few posts here and there but keeping most and moving them with me. It's the perennial question, isn't it? What to take and what to throw away? And so I've taken most of my stories with me to my new home.
You can find me now here (http://smallworldathome.blogspot.com). Please come and visit me! You don't even have to bring a gift. The boxes are by no means unpacked and everything needs redecorated, but I'm ready for company. We're very casual around here and keep our doors open to friends! (And while you're there, hop over to my studio at SmallWorld Reads!)
Pretty soon, when I get things looking nicer, I'll be having a housewarming party. But for now, please drop in and leave your calling card so I can get my blogroll in gear. And be sure to find the RSS button and add me to your feed!
Saturday, July 12, 2008 - Camping is Good for the Soul

Jul. 8, 2008 - Just checking in
Hello everyone. It has been a long while. I have been busy and find it very hard to stay committed to this whole blog thing. Maybe this time it will be better.
I have a little 6 month old little precious baby girl at my house for what I thought will be the whole summer, but looks like her my may be in this weekend. Good for mommy, sad for shemomie. That is what they call me. She has been such a blessing to me and my whole family adores her. Many interrupted nights of sleep, but would not trade it for anything. Pray for her mom who in school in Nashville, she misses her dearly. Hopefully I will have pictures of her and more to say as God works this out situation.
Sunday, July 6, 2008 - Summer Project Completed!
This past week I've been attacking my summer project with single-minded determination. Randy and Jesse were gone for the whole week with Group Workcamps, doing amazing things with 350 other teens and adult leaders to help the disadvantaged and needy in a town in rural Ohio. So while they were scraping, painting, digging post holes, hammering, getting blisters, getting wet and muddy, and taking cold showers, I worked tirelessly at home in the air-conditioned kitchen. Duncan and Laurel were absolute angels while I peeled, sanded, spackled and painted, and today we are all enjoying our pretty kitchen.

We added curtains, outlet covers, and a new paper towel holder today. (Who knew it would be so hard to find a wall-mounted paper towel holder in something other than white plastic?) All I really have left is to replace some trim and scrape a lot of paint drippings off the cabinets.
Next project: rip up the vinyl and tile the kitchen floor!
