Dec. 22, 2006 - Enjoying my Family
I am having such a great day with my kids. They are so enjoyable to be around. We are enjoying the holiday season making cookies together, preparing for Christmas and celebrating the birth of our Savior. They love to talk about Jesus.
They are so interesting. I love having older kids. They are such a joy to watch them get all of the things we have been teaching them over the years. They are learning to lean on the Lord and trust Him. They love to talk about what they see Him doing in their lives and they watch their friends at church go through hard times. They are learning from their mistakes. I just really enjoy spending time with them.
We take walks each morning and they really start to talk out side of our home. I guess we get distracted at home. We have only been able to take short walks lately due to my health. But today they are just enjoying the day as we decorate cookies and spend time together.
We are so happy this Christmas Eve is going to just be our family after Church and we are so excited to have a special family day. These kids are truly our favorite people to be with.
