Dec. 22, 2006 - One more blessing about homeschool
Homeschooling opens you up many opportunities that would not be available if they were in a traditional school, today many of our local school are not on Christmas Break. And today we got a call from a friend who was going to got to give out gifts for Christmas to about 1000 under privileged kids who go to the local soup kitchen and when they are finished with that they will go serve lunch for the soup kitchen. I am so happy they have this opportunity. We had 20 minutes to get ready before they were picked up to go. It is such a blessing when ministry opportunities open up and you are available to serve. Normally I am not one to change plans from what we are doing, but I always want to be open to minister to people or other service opportunities.
