The New Beginning: Adventures of the Bensing Family

Our life has been such an adventure lately. At least it feels that way.. After the movers came and took all of our stuff to storage, we "moved in with our dear friends Ashlee and Bret.. It really was fun playing with the triplets and watching our children play with Tori.. We had good fellowship and lots of fun.. Its is always hard to leave good friends behind.. Can you imagine how crazy and loud it is with four adults and seven kids in a little 4 bedroom house?!?!
Then it was time for our trek to Oklahoma.. We had a really smooth trip  and the scenery was beautiful.. When we finally arrived in Lawton it honestly felt like we had returned home. Everything seemed so familiar.
Especially our friends and family in Christ...The Nunley family.. I am so thankful that we made such a close connection with them when Nik was stationed at Fort Sill. They have been a true blessing to our family. It has been so hard tearing myself away from their little paradise of a home.. Its so quiet and quaint.
Since they have a small farm.. Mathew, Sierra, and Jessica have been able to run and discover like all children should (at least I think so). They have milked cows, fed chickens, gathered eggs, and helped with whatever chores Stormie and Renee can get them to do.
Every day at the Nunley house brings a new adventure of some kind..  Birds building nests in my bag of syringes (you would be surprised how quick those little wrens can build) on the back porch above the refrigerator,  or when the little nest of wrens got spooked and decided to bail out.. I am sure it was a comical sight watching us girls chase the little things down, especailly when the smallest one took a dive in the pool and needed rescuing. But the cows of course are my favorite part...I love cows and of course the milk and more importantly the fresh cream..  Life is so wholesome and just seems so right out in the country..
Oh and definatly another great highlight is having Breezie and Jason right there.. They have such a sweet family.. Its really been a good "baby fix "  for Nik and I.. Jacks little smiles can light up a room he is  such a snuggly baby you never want to put him down and thier oldest Madelynn (sorry if spelled wrong) is so much fun as well.. She is so tiny and sooo smart its really fun to see the things that will come out of her little mouth.. And as long as Her Aunt Nanee (Renee) isnt around I actually get to cuddle and play with her as well.
It has really been neat to see how the girls have grown into such wonderful young ladies..
Thank you Paula, Art, Breezie, Jason, Stormie, And Renee for all of your kindness we Love you all so Much.
