Tues May 13 Devo- My exodus continued
Deuteronomy 1
Command to leave Horab
Moses turning command over to tribal leaders for disputes.
They are going through a journey; that is causing them struggle and strife. As people of God who have been delivered form slavery and received the blessing of so man y miracles. I am constantly surprised over the amount of doubt and strife that goes through the nation. They argue, complain, and seem to have such little faith. But yet as I can see their faithlessness I do not notice my own. We know whenever there is uncertainty over what lies ahead there are strong emotions. Even though we know that God is in complete control, we still get scared, stressed, frustrated and quarrel with those around us. Yet we should be banding together, lifting each other up. I wonder why it is so easy to take our frustrations and anger out on those close to us even when they are the ones leading us to better places or plans in life by following Gods plans.
Inspite of the trouble; Moses loved his people (Gods people). He was still there to help and guide whenever the quarrels were to much for the Tribal leaders. He is a good of example of showing Gods love and compassion to others.
I know my grammar and sentence structure is terrible. I just really like typing out the things I learn from my bible reading. It helps me see the big picture better. I hope you all do not mind my bible rambling. |
