I'm still alive. Just nothing much to talk about. I got a new game, Mega Man Star Force 2: Zerker X Saurian. It's really fun. Comment me with something interesting to blog about. |

I figured I should post now.... It's been what, at least two weeks? The lawn mowing business is pressing... Not a lot of free time, but I did find a cool video. That says it all, and in lego bricks too! What do you guys think of doing something like Viral Vednesdays? (wednesday....) Something where you post a cool vid you find on the net on wednesdays? Sound fun? Try it, we'll see. |

"Everybody likes magic....and flowers! Here, those are for you..." Larry, Night at the Museum. A few of my lesser known intrests that you might like as well.... Everybody likes....Louie Armstrong, and that moustached mushroom plumber hero, Mario. Allow me to warn you... Don't follow the "related" videos, some of them might be junk. And, Everybody likes.... taxes! NOT! This was a cool video I found on World Net Daily. I think it relates to the current economic problems and what our government is doing to fix it, and I thought it was appropriate for tax day. And everybody likes...Superheroes! My favorite one is Jesus, but my favorite fictional one is Spider-man. (according to creator Stan Lee, you're supposed to use the hyphon.) The Spider-man Theme Song. Spiderman, Spiderman, Does whatever a spider can. Spins a web, any size, Catches thieves just like flies. Look out! Here comes the Spiderman. Is he strong? Listen bud— He's got radioactive blood. Can he swing from a thread? Take a look overhead. Hey there! There goes the Spiderman. In the chill of the night, At the scene of the crime, Like a streak of light, He arrives just in time! Spiderman, Spiderman, Friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Wealth and fame, he's ignored— Action is his reward. To him, Life is a great big bang-up— Wherever there's a hang-up, You'll find the Spiderman! And last but certainly not least, Everybody likes....A nice big chunk of scripture. John Piper spouted this off in a sermon about ...MEMORIZING THE BIBLE! No teleprompters, no notes, just pure memorized scripture. It went on for 15 minutes! Here's just five. Awesome, huh? Pretty amazing. Godspeed. legochristian |

I am driving. Sort of. hmm.. how to put this.... I need a certian amount of hours Behind the Wheel before I can get the next level of license. And I have to learn how to parelell park. So today I made some flags to practice with. I might just post how to make them on another website...If I do I'll tell you. But I have to drive almost 17 hours before next friday.... Pretty fun huh? Sometimes, driving's not all it's cracked up to be. But you gotta love zooming around a corner doing 75 on the freeway. With the cruse on. It's fun, trust me. You feel like Speed Racer or Jeff Gordon or someone. It's cool. Anyway, to today's (and yesterday's) Passion Week Passages. In case you're wondering what clearing out the temple has to do with easter, (see my last post) I am posting passages that chronicle some of the things Jesus did his last week on Earth before he died. Matthew 21:19 Seeing a fig tree by the road, He went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. Then He said to it, "May you never bear fruit again!" Immeadeatly, the tree withered. Matthew 21:42 Jesus said to them, "have you never read in the Scriptures: ' The stone the builders rejected has become the capstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes'?" Hope you enjoy what I'm doing! legochristian |

An anonymous commenter left this comment on my post revising the Separation of Church and State: I happened upon your blog, and while I was reading your well-written article on the separation of church and state, a couple things came to mind. First: When you say that the first amendment allows us the freedom to follow the religion of our choice, you're right. But you seem to neglect that it also allows Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, and anyone else the freedom to follow the religion of their choice, just as much as Christians. And you don't see any Hindus posting quotes from the Sutras in public places. That is the point of separation of church and state: to allow everyone to follow their own religion, whether it is the popular one or not. You as an individual can pray in school; you just can't make everyone pray, since it's likely that many people there aren't Christian. Second: the Founding Fathers were not Christian. They were Deist. Thomas Jefferson, Ben Franklin, and probably George Washington were all Deists. They believed that there was some higher power that created the Universe, but that it was not necessarily a Christian God. They followed universal morals embraced by most all world religions not because they were Christian, but because they were right. Even non-Christians can have morals. Now then, this commenter made some points: 1. I focused on Christianity, not all religions, 2. Some of the Founding Fathers were not Christian. Point number 1: I focused on Christianity, because, #1, this is a copy of a book review I wrote on Separation of Church and State: What the Founders Meant by David Barton, a Christian. So, I used examples he gave because that pamphlet was my source material, and I am also a Christian. Secondly, the phrase "Separation of Church and State" is being used to attack Christians, no one else (please note I did not specify a specific denomination), because Christians are the only ones who are non inclusive. Most other religions have various gods, and would be more than willing to accept us into their framework if we would just accept their gods as well. I'm sorry, but we can't do that. Jesus said "I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (emphasis mine) Point number 2: Where in the world did I say that the Founding Fathers were Christians??? I know for a fact that Thomas Jefferson probably wasn't a Christian, because of a Jefferson Bible he had printed for his children, essentially a modern day bible storybook, except for all of the miraculous instances in Jesus' life pointing to him as the messiah and Savior were taken out. So no, I didn't say that. But what is true is that most of the Founding Fathers believed in the God of the Bible, even if they didn't accept Christ. Non-Christians can have morals, but only if they are influenced by the Bible. If you can find How Christianity Changed the World by Alvin J. Schmidt, you can see how our moral system today was heavily influenced by Christ. Now that that's out of the way, a lighter note. WATER HAS BEEN FOUND ON MARS!!!!! This could be very controversial. I will post a pic of the exact spot.... ![]() You also might have noticed I let April Fools day go by without a joke......... But we're past that now. Easter is coming! So, I decided to post some bible passages about easter week... Matthew 21:9 The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted "Hosanna to the Son of David!" "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Hosanna in the highest!" That was Sunday's. Here's todays: Matthew 21:12 "It is written," he said to them, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it a 'den of robbers.'" I will try to post one every day this week....If I can't, I'll make up for it. Later! legochristian |

Weather where I live stinks. One day it will be a balmy 75 degrees and sunny, and the next -20 and snowing. And then it goes back to 75 in the afternoon. Okay, I'm exaggerating a little. But that's what's been happening here for the past couple of weeks. What makes it worse is that when it was winter, it was all brown, no snow, windy, and -12. Now, in SPRING, when it's supposed to be brown, it's white in the morning, 30 degrees, blowing snow, then slush and brown grass just starting to turn green in the afternoon. It dosen't help that I shovel 5-6 peoples sidewalks and driveways. In the mornings. When it's blowing and stuff. I guess I can't complain. We are in a drought, and other people in other places get worse. God is pulling a major April Fools day joke on me. I was grumpy and complaining this morning (when I was shoveling) and now I am talking about Phil. 2:14: "Do everything without complaining or arguing,...." It really screws up your day when you complain when you're grumpy. It may not be your fault, you might be right, and it might feel good for a second to complain about others and how you are so abused... but in the end it gets you testy, and other people testy, and then you start to argue... and things spiral down. Your day is ruined. It pays to obey this passage. Trust me, I know from experience. ( I also know you can put your back out and get major cricks in the neck and arms from shoveling from experince....) legochristian |
This is my first cartoon, so cut me a little slack on the drawing part of it. I'm probably going to make all the girls who think pigs are cute sick. Anyway, here we go.![]() One panel hilarity. Yes, that's supposed to be Farmer Hogget. And you can figure out who the roast pig on the table is. And now, do you guys remember the little post I made a while back on the separation of church and state? Well, for a school project, I revised it a little, and I wanted to show you the "NEW AND IMPROVED" version of it. Here we go. David Barton’s pamphlet Separation of Church and State: What the founders meant cleared up a lot of stuff for me. Most people think that the words “separation of church and state” are in the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Well, here is an exact quote of the First Amendment: Of all the dispositions and habits that lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable [inseparable] supports. In vain would that man claim the tribute of patriotism, who should labor to subvert these great pillars of human happiness – these firmest props of the duties of man and citizens. The mere politician, equally with the pious man, ought to respect and cherish them. Whoa! Sounds a little harsh. Any man, who tries to separate God from the political establishment, can’t call himself a patriot! Then he went on: Let us with caution indulge the supposition that morality can be maintained without religion. Whatever may be conceded to the influence of refined education…reason and experience both forbid us to expect that nation morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle. Building a better world...one plastic brick at a time, legochristian. P.S. Like the new stuff? P.P.S: Please comment. I like it when you do. |
My Birthday was last Saturday!!!!! I am now -- (oops, guess that's classified. To get that information, please step out of line, fill out this 563 page form, go home, wait for the 15456 page form to come in the mail, (no first class mailing, sorry) fill it out, send it back in, and wait for the license to come in the mail (once again, no first class) take it to a printer, have it laminated, take it to the DMV, and give someone a paper cut, then take it to the library and have it stamped.....) Anyway, I got..........![]() THE LEGO CLAW DIGGER! Pretty cool huh? I didn't get much else, because instead of asking for presents from my friends, I asked them to give me the money they would have used to purchase something, and I'm going to send it to some missonary friends I know that are going to Africa. I had done this before on another birthday, and it's a good idea. Instead of getting a bunch of junk that will probably break, you give to help God's kingdom grow, and in the process get a really good feeling. In other news: I got a haircut! A pretty massive one by the way.... i will have to post Before and After pics later. I also got to shave the bit of peach fuzz I was growing! It was loads of fun, so I can't wait till it grows back. Once again, I will have to get pics of me in shaving cream out. Not much else to say, except I am planning some new theme changes on my blog, and I got to see the movie that my header picture is of! It was pretty awesome. Geared for tweens though, so I'm a little old for it, but moral fun anyway. So, Until Next Time, Courage and Godspeed. legochristian |

Tim Hawkins (an awesome christian comedian) put his 6-year-old son's poem to music, and played it in his show. Here is a GodTube (now called Tangle) video of that song.... |

Okay, here's the last post in my semi-review of John Adams. In the episode entitled "reunion", after Mr. and Mrs. Adams go inside, they get "frisky" (they hadn't seen each other for 5 years). Dad read on the internet somewhere about this and thought it was suggestive enough to fast forward. In the last episode, the Adams' daughter, Nabby, finds that she has breast cancer, and there is an exposed breast during the operation. Parents should fast forward this, but in between there are importaint scenes, so, ff with care. How many of my readers play or have played Guitar Hero? How many of you smart readers and parents wish there were more Christian artists, and the girl characters wore more clothes? Almost all of you? Well, here's your answer: ![]() Yes it's Guitar Praise: Solid Rock! All Christian songs and artists, and all the fun of Guitar Hero in a christian computer game. It's a little glitchy (it might just be our old computer) but it is still a good alternative to Guitar Hero. Some glitches include: You have to hit the note a little before it reaches the target area, but after a couple times of experimentation, you figure it out. Also, (this is the "old computer" part) sometimes it skips a little is songs. I will try to post screenshots of me playing it when I can. Courage and Godspeed, legochristian. P.S. Check out the new pics in my sidebar! |

Okay, how many of you think that the phrase "separation of Church and state" is in the first amendment to the U.S. Constitution. (I see almost all the hands go up) Alright then. Here is an exact quote of the First Amendment: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances. Hmm. Not there huh? Where did it come from? Here is a quote from a letter from Thomas Jefferson to the Danbury Babtist Association in response to their question about whether the U.S. Constitution (not yet ratified at that time) would allow the congress to pass laws restricting the church. Jefferson wrote: Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man & his god, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legitimate powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, thus building a wall of separation between church and state (emphasis mine) There, do you see it? Now, put that together with the first amendment, and what does "separation of church and state" mean? It means that the government does not have the power to restrict our freedom to have the ten commandments on a government owned park, in a public school, or to restrict our freedom to talk about God and his son Jesus in school, senate, or the House of Representatives, or anywhere else. What it does restrict is the Government from having the power to make any one religion or Christian doctrine the national religion. Now, you may argue with me (ACLU members....) that the framers (as the people who helped to word each amendment are called) meant something completely different. Well then, I encourage you to read Separation of Church and State: What the Founders Meant. by David Barton as I did. It really opens the door on what this greatly misued term means. |
John Adams update: (morse code noise, like in all the movies that they show) In the third chapter some more warning: There is a scene where a leg has to be amputated, and that might be a little scary for younger viewers, and also John Adams has to go to France, and the French there are a little...How to put this...Cavalier in their personal lives. Also there is a scene where Adams and his wife are in bed in the nude, but they don't show anything. You just kinda get the idea from what they do show you. And ben franklin in a tub naked with a clothed french woman (once again they don't show anything, but...) And to understand the story, you can't fast-forward these scenes. I weep for the state of Hollywood. Anyway, to my next subject of this probably very long post:![]() ![]() ![]() The first volume of the miniseries start's up where episode 2 left off, the begining of the clone wars. Anakin is still a padawan, and they have many adventures. Nothing really objectionable, except for the poor hand-drawn graphics and poor lines. Mini-series volume two picks up where V1 left off, the start of a dynamic battle between General Grevious and Jedi Ki-Adi-Mundi (he has two brains by the way....) Same poor graphics, but slightly better lines. Anakin becomes a jedi, and has loads of adventures that are kinda partialy shown. (e.g. they don't tell you where he get's his scar, they just have a scene of him surprising Padmé with it) This is where I beleve that the new movie and T.V. series fits in. One objectionable thing that I found in this one was that a more primitive alien race ask's the "spirit of fire" to tell them about Anakin, and things appear in the smoke. Also, "The Force" gives Anakin a vision in a cave, kinda similar to the one Luke gets in Ep. 5. That can provoke discussion. After saving this race of people, Anakin and Obi-Wan get a message from Mace Windu and Yoda that Corusant is under attack, thus tying into Ep. 3. The movie was good, some people might insinuate that it was stupid, because it's all about trying to rescue Rotta the Huttlet, Jabba the Hutt's son. (Jabba's little "punky-muffin") But there are many political reasons for the rescue, and double crossings and other things make for an interesting story. The T.V. show comes right after the movie, and is fairly cool. I have only seen episodes 1,2,4 and 5, so I can't really say if there was anything objectionable in the whole thing, but nothing so far except for Ahsoka Tano (Anakin's new Jedi Apprentice) has a bare midriff. Now for part 3 of my longest blog post ever. In Numbers, Moses is leading the Israelites through the desert, and three Levites, Dathan, Korah, and Abriam decide they are just as good as Aaron, God's chosen priest. They gathered 250 followers, and went and had a shouting match with Moses, till God told Moses to dare them to do Aarons job. So, the next day, all 253 rebels and Aaron burn incence to the Lord. God tells Moses to tell all the people to move away from the 250 followers and the three leaders and their tents. The earth swallowed up the tents, leaders, and their families and possesions. Then, "fire came down from the Lord," and took out all the followers. So, don't rebel against what God told you or someone else to do, okay? I wan't you to keep on reading my blog. Courage and Godspeed, legochristian |
As of yesterday, I was planning on talking(typing?) about the STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS movie, mini-series, and TV series, but instead, I'm gonna talk about John Adams.![]() Yep, President, Politican, and star of an HBO mini-series. We got the DVD of the mini-series for my dad for his birthday, and it is awesome. Some interesting historical facts from the first two episodes: John Adams defended the British soldiers from the Boston Massacre, and (with generous help from his wife) got them aquitted! He also turned down an offer to be the "King's man" to serve on the continental congress (I am not sure what the "King's man" job entialed, it wasn't that clear to me the first time around, but it probably will come out if I watch it again.) Adams formed the committe that drafed the Declaration of Independence, and was one of the first people to read it in it's original format. Adams nominated George Washington for "Commander in Cheif" of the first Continental Army. These facts along with the more well known facts are presented wonderfully. It is rated TV-14, as there is a scene where someone is tarred and feathered, and that was done by stripping the victim, pouring hot tar on him, and then throwing feathers on him. It is a bit graphic with the stripping, so that is a scene that could be fast-forwarded. Also, in the second episode, there is a smallpox victim that would look quite scary to younger viewers. Other than those two scenes, so far, it is a good family movie. I would say enjoy, but with generous use of the Fast-forward button. I will plan to do a review... but for now, Till next time, Courage and Godspeed, Legochristian P.S. Expect Clone Wars soon! |

Hey guys. I know I have some people reading my blog, but I get no comments. It kinda makes you feel like you're all alone. If you users who read my blog could comment, it would be much appreciated. And the non users can e-mail me! (you know what my address is) Now, the important thing. As many of you might know, Disney diched the Narnia series. Walden Media will still produce it, but they can't do it alone, so they signed with 20th Century Fox. But the reasons for Disney ditching Narnia were money. There were several reasons that Prince Caspian didn't do as good as Lion, Witch and Wardrobe. Number one, Prince Caspian is the least favorite book of Narnia fans. Number two, the release date was sandwiched right between Iron Man and Indiana Jones: the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Number three, It didn't follow the book as closely as the other. It couldn't be helped, but they could have made certian parts closer to the book. Now, Fox is working with Walden on Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Here is what I suggest. In either 2010 or 2011, it will be released in May. GO SEE IT. Google it and find out the date, and circle it on your calendar (if you have one for then....) set aside the money to go see it and don't touch it (unless in case of emergencys) But most importiantly, GO SEE IT IN THE THEATRE!!!! That's what they base making the next one on. The Box Office. And just to make doubly sure, buy it on DVD or Blu-Ray, and then send a copy to all your family for Christmas, and encourage them to give it to someone who does'nt have it if they get dupes. DO THIS NOT ONLY FOR YOUSELF BECAUSE YOU WANT TO SEE A MOVIE VERSON OF THE LAST BATTLE, BUT BECASUE YOU WANT SOMEONE TO ASK YOU ABOUT ASLAN AND SO YOU CAN TELL THEM ABOUT GOD!!!!!!!!!!! FOR ASLAN, NARNIA, AND CHRIST!!!!! Courage and Godspeed, legochristian |

Our family went to a Super Bowl party on sunday (you do know Super Bowl Sunday is a world holiday now right?) I only saw half of it, but it was a good game (I saw the 2nd Quarter and the 4th Quarter) I felt like Moses when the Israelites fought the Amalakites (or some country like that) and the Isrealites won as long as Moses held his arms up? Well, when I came into the room where the Super Bowl was on, the Cardinals started winning. When I left, the Steelers started winning. Needless to say, it wasn't good enough. Steelers won by 7 points. I was rooting for the Cardinals. But, you know whats cool? God watches football. Kurt Warner, the starting Quarterback for the Cardinals, is a Christian. So's the Steelers' starting QB. Pretty cool huh? That way, it does'nt matter who won the Super Bowl, because when asked why they got to where they are, both QBs will answer "It's because of Jesus Christ!!!" Ain't it awesome to have Christian role models in sports? Courage and Godspeed. legochrisitan |

WE are reading Leviticus as a family, so here we go. IN the passage we read today, we read about how Aaron and his sons were ordained. There were various offerings and sacrifices. We about how he was supposed to do this in Exodus, when Moses was on the mountian. I don't know why God didn't just say, "And he did everything that God commanded him" instead of giving us a play by play. Anyone know what the "long lobe of the liver" is? I would like to hear comment by the way. Enjoy! "...But if I could go on just one Alpha level mission, just one, they'd have to give me a full promotion into the power zire sphere. Sorry, I can't remember where I read today except that it was Genesis and the chapter number was in the forties.... Anyway, we've skipped to Joseph. Joseph was sold by his brothers to some Ishmealites who took him to Egypt to sell as a slave. (nothing like brotherly love huh?) Joseph was sold to Potiphar, and soon was put in charge of everything, cuz he could be trusted. Now, during this time, Joseph didn't have any dreams, or he wizend up and stopped telling people about them. (Joseph got some dreams from God that his brothers and parents would bow down to him.... Like a dork he had to go and tell them all what it meant.... His brothers didn't like him very much in the first place....Stupid.) Anyway, Potifar's wife wanted to get extra friendly with Joseph, but Joseph, being a God fearing dude, was smart enough to say no. So the nasty lady grabs his coat and Joseph runs off. The sneaky wife tells a story that Joseph wanted to get extra friendly with her. Apperently, that's a criminal offence in Egypt. He got sent to jail, but there was a Gold lining to this cloud. Joseph got put in charge of everything in the jail!!!! So, Joseph is making his morning rounds, when he sees the cupbearer and the baker, hugging their knees and rocking back and forth. Joe asks whats wrong, and they blab out these weird dreams., Which turn out to mean that the cupbearer will be pardoned, and the baker's gonna get the short drop and sudden stop, all on the third day from that day. Turns out it was Pharoah's birthday!!! He threw a big party, and just like Joseph said, the cupbearer got pardened, and the baker got hung. Joseph asked the cupbearer to ask Pharoah for a pardon for him, but apperently the cupbearer had bad short term memory. At least he didn't completely forget, cuz the Pharoah had a dream too. No one could figure it out, until the cupbearer told Pharoah about poor Joe down in the dungeon. Turns out, the Pharoah's dreams were bad news. 7 years of awesome harvest (pizza party!) followed by 7 years of famine so bad that the pizza party years would hardly be rembered. But Joseph had it all figured out. he tells Pharoah to find someone wise and in tune with God to save 1/5 of all the abundance in the seven years, then ration it out to the people in the 7 bad years. (for a fee of course) Now, for those who don't quite understand, in the seven good years, you get five pizzas from your pizza tree (now use your imagination here....) But, in the seven bad years, you won't get any. so Joseph's plan was to save one of the five pizzas to use in the bad years, and then you get to use the other five. Back to the story (it's a true story too!) Pharoah told Joseph "You meet the requirements better than anybody!!! To top it all off, I'll make you second in command. The people do what you say, no matter what, unless I say different." Pretty big job huh? But ever since Joseph got into Egypt, God was training him for it. Smart God huh? Courage and Godspeed. legochristian |

In Genesis 21-24, we see the fufillment of the promises made in earlier chapters. Issac is born, and everyone is happy. That is, until Issac is weaned. Abraham held a big feast on that day, and Sarah saw Ishmael laughing.( I don't know why....) Sarah asks Abraham to send Hagar and Ishmael away. God says it's all right, so he does. For some reason they go to the desert. Seeing as Abraham only gave them one skin of water, that doesn't sound like a good idea. I mean, water is not readily available in the desert. So they ran out of water, and Hagar sticks the 13 year old kid under a bush, and goes off to cry cuz he's gonna die. But remember 13 years ago when Hagar was in the desert? Yeah, the promise. God rememberd. An angel came and showed them water, and Ishmael grew up in the desert. Meanwhile, in another part of the Holy Land.... Sarah dies of old age. :-( Everybody is sad, and she is buried in a cave Abraham buys for this very purpose from the Hittites. This is the first land owned in the Holy Land by what would become the nation of Isreal. So, years pass, and Issac is now old enough to be married, and he wants a God-fearing wife for his boy. So he takes his cheif servant, and says to him "Put your hand under my thigh." It's true. I think that's how they made promises and vows back then. (Abraham does this at least twice.) Anyway, Abraham made this servant promise that he would go back to the land of Ur and find a wife for Issac, but he couldn't take Issac. Tough job, huh? Abraham was confident that God would help this servant out. That's some faith. So the dude goes out. (there was a good chance his name was Elezar of Damascus, so we'll call him that.) Elezar has a bunch af gifts for this lady that he has no idea how he's gonna find. So he gets to Ur, and sits by the well, cuz drawing water was for the ladies. If you stand by the well at about sunset, you get a good view of the women of the town. Before any came out though, he said a prayer. He asked God to give him a sign. The sign was to be that if he asked for a drink, she would not only give him a drink but water all his camels too. (no, he didn't smoke. The horse like animal with the humps that spits) Now, this was no easy task. He had ten camels, count em, 10, and they could each drink about 10 gallons of water. Also, you had to watch out for that spitting that we talked about, cuz that water is drool fuel. So before he's even done praying, a girl named Rebecca comes out. He asked the million shekel question, "Can I have a drink?" Right on cue, she says " Yes, and I'll water your camels too." So he sits there watching her while she does it (probably making sure she will go through) and when she's done, shoves a bunch of jewlry on her and asked her where he dad's was and who her dad was and if he could stay there. SURPRISE!!! She's Issac's second cousin!! So he goes to her dad's house and introduces himself and tells his story. Rachel's family leaves it up to her. For some reason she was more than willing to go to a forgen country and marry a guy she never met. (Maybe it was the sign from God???) So they go home, and Issac is happy, and Rachel is happy, and Abraham is happy, Everybody is happy.(Wow, lot's of mood swings in these chapters, huh?) What we can learn from the story of Issac and Rachel is that you don't need to worry about who you're gonna marry, cuz God has things all planned out. I'm not saying she'll feed your pet snake for ya, but God knows who will be your other half. Courage and Godspeed. legochristian |
