Anyway, I guess I'll start my first entry out MUCH lighter! My name is Bethany and I am 18 years old. I am a Christian. My mom is dutchy, the cutest woman ever. My dad is pretty amazing too, but I don't think he has a homeschool blog. I was homeschooled all my school days except for two years in high school before I graduated from home my senior year. As previously mentioned, I am a criminal justice major at a local community college.

I just moved out of my parent's house in early June. I miss them every day, and I wish I got to talk to them more. I think we have a great relationship. Sure, we bicker a little now and then but they've been there for me through thick and then and when it comes down to it, they are my best friends. I am unemployed, and I am loving all the time off! I can read, I can clean my room, I can lounge around, I can study court cases, I can watch Top Chef marathons! But, I know I need to get a job soon. One can only be this lazy for so long. :)

I have a great boyfriend (also my best friend) who I spend most of my time with. We study the bible together, we watch movies together, we shop together, we cook together and we go on drives together. That's probably the activity we do the most, and it's also the most expensive with gas prices. I'll be driving him to the college starting Winter quarter so it will be nice to have a real reason to go on a drive together.

Mostly I just go day to day trying to be a better follower of Christ and alleviate stress in my life. Things are pretty tough out on my own, but if I stress I get really sick. I went through awhile there when I would have life-threatening allergy attacks because I was so stressed. Or, that's what the doctor told me. I thought it was just milk. I guess it was the milk plus the stress.

So, anyway. I thought I'd have a little bit more of a happy first entry to start the future out on a good foot!:)
