Much better today

My outlook on winter has improved today.  It is in the 20s and 30s now.  This cold I can handle.  It's the hovering around 0 degree that does me in, makes me wish I could move to Timbuktu (is Timbuktu warm year round??). 

I guess my biggest issue is contentment, being happy where I am planted.  Who's to say if we moved to the perfect sunshiny town (wherever that may be) that I'd be satisfied?  The greener pasture syndrome is my friend I guess. 

Thank you Lord for helping me get through the last few weeks.  Change my heart Lord and bring me closer to you.

I've read it all and added you to my friends' list. Now I have a few questions about you that I'm curious about. How old and what gender are your children? How long have you been in Alaska? What brought you there? (My husband and I have an interest in Alaska, and have contemplated moving there many times, but the Lord has not yet led that way).

Thanks for commenting on my blog! I added a little more info on that picture, btw. People that don't live up here seem to think it is current! LOL! I guess we are on the other side of the world, right! Hahaha!

I am sorry you had the blahs. I know what you mean. Several people, including myself, had trouble during that time too. What do you think of all of this spring weather we are having! I hope it stays, but dh thinks it's alll going to melt and then we are going to get dumped on again... so, I'm trying not to get too excited.

Are you going to the APHEA convention in April? www.aphea.org. If so, we should meet for lunch! Our whole family will be there all day, both days.
