"The days are long, but the years are fleeting."

May. 5, 2008 - Love Note

This is the love note (below) that the

children left Daddy last week on our

last official homeschool day of the

 year.   They've been loving playing

their new "Bananagrams" game (like

Scrabble, but without the board),

exploring the great outdoors, doing

cursive and dot-to-dots "just for fun",

 learning about reproduction from our

two friendly rabbits, helping with

grocery shopping, cooking and baking,

changing car tires, checking the oil,

and finding bugs.

Right.  School is over.  heh heh.

THEY ONLY THINK SCHOOL ENDED.

Mwua-ha-ha-ha-haaaaa!

Oh, and we don't have a child named "NB".

That stands for "new baby".  :)

Hope your week is off to a great start.

 Ours is!!

Love,

Leah

That is so cute! Yep-even when school "stops", the learning never ends-thank goodness!
I don't hear music, but I have dial-up-so that could be why. Holly

What a sweet note for dad! I bet that sure made him heart-happy! We also will soon"quit" school but oh, if they only knew all I have planned for the summer. (all in disguised of course) I'd NEVER go and call it school. (even though it will be oh,so educational!)
Have a wonderful summer!

We are doing the same thing with school. I am glad to know I am not alone. Have a blessed week mama.
