Apr. 7, 2009 - WHERE DOES THE TIME GO??

Guess who is already six months old!

Remington Charles!!

He is such a happy baby. He is starting to sit up, and really loves playing with toys, socks, his toes, tags on blankets, and Mama's apron strings (literally!). He is SO adorable!

He has the biggest smile, and he shares it freely, every time you make eye contact with him. He giggles, and his favorite sound to make is "Da-da-da-da-da!"

He is SO curious! He knows his name, and when we call him, he swings around his chubby little face and his blue eyes search the room for the source of the sound. And then, of course, he rewards us with his priceless grin. Oh, how we all adore this baby boy!!

If it were possible to freeze time, to somehow stop this baby from growing and changing, I would. I am so in love with him. I'm in love with his tiny fingers and snuffly nose noises, the way he plays with his ear while he nurses, and the way he lights up when he sees me. I adore his long eyelashes, his toothless grin and watching him discover the sights, sounds and textures around him. It just isn't possible to love him any more than I do!

I can't help but thank the Lord every time this baby boy falls asleep in my arms, and I once again have the chance to cradle his sleepy little body. All too soon, he'll join his older brothers and sisters in their busy lives, crazy shenanigans and constant action. But today, for this moment, I will cherish him.

Happy 6 months, little Remi-Boye. OH, how I love you!!

Aw, what a SWEET post, Leah! And my goodness, is he ever a doll with those chubby cheeks and big blue eyes! The 3rd to last pic is to-die-for. Time for a canvas! :)
