| HsKubes' Gal, has (with Miss Peggy's permission) adapted The Simple Woman's Daybook to A Young Maiden's Daybook for us young ladies who are not quite women yet. You can read her orginal post regarding it here.

Today… February 22, 2009 (Yes, I'm doing it in advance :))
Outside my window… The blinds are covering it...it would be dark anyway.
I am thinking… about how precious children are and how there are so many millions of children with no hope in the world...they live in extreme poverty and are often sold into slavery and prostituition. Worst of all, they do not know Jesus. Millions of these children live in India alone. Gospel for Asia is doing something about it. Through Bridge of Hope they are sharing the love of Jesus with the kids of the dalits or "untouchables" while giving them food, clothing, and an education. It only costs $28 a month to sponsor a child and change his or her entire future and share the hope of Christ with not only that child but also his/her family and even the entire community!
I am thankful for… never going hungry.
I am wearing… A black Steps for Life t-shirt and a blue skirt
I am reading… The Bible (2 Samuel right now) and Christianity in Crisis by Hank Hanegraff.
I am creating… GGM assignment(s), short film script, book, etc. You can read my review of Fireproof here.
One of my favorite things… This actually does not qualify as a "thing" but I love children!
For education this week… Bible, Algebra 2, biology, world history, writing, literature, P.E., and Thai. Note: I do seven subjects each day. P.E. and Thai alternate and I have already finished vocabulary which used to alternate with literature. Plus, different things I do that fall into the "fine arts" and "electives" category :)!
A keeper at home skill I am using/learning … time management
A spiritual lesson I’m learning… Contentment
A godly character trait I plan to work on… Perseverance/Patience
Scripture I am memorizing… Ephesians 6
I am praying for… Unreached people groups (including the Dalits) and poverty stricken children around the world. And...I am continuing to pray for Tyler Farver and his family.
For the rest of the week… Writing, reading, schoolwork, piano, etc.
A picture I’d like to share...
