A Young Maiden's Daybook #9

Posted in Daybook
HsKubes' Gal, has (with Miss Peggy's permission) adapted The Simple Woman's Daybook  to A Young Maiden's Daybook for us young ladies who are not quite women yet.  You can read her orginal post regarding it here

Today… March 30, 2009

Outside my window… It's nice and bright out.

I am thinking… that I have learned a lot from the audio cd's of the Christian Filmmaker's Academy...I will be posting a review shortly.

I am thankful for… those who are helping orphans find homes (and those who are adopting orphans!).

I am wearing… A dark red shirt and jacket and a black skirt

I am reading… The Bible (Psalms right now) and Christianity in Crisis by Hank Hanegraff.

I am creating… A book, essay, storyboards, etc.  I also need to start working on the above mentioned review and a 3 minute screenplay for a contest.

One of my favorite things... Loyal friends

For education this week… Reading, writing, cooking, baking, story boarding, Thai, listening to audio CD's, piano, and more.

A keeper at home skill I am using/learning … A lot of cooking and baking.

A spiritual lesson I’m learning… Patience

A godly character trait I plan to work on… Patience

Scripture I am memorizing… Galatians 3

I am praying for…  Various people and people groups/countries

For the rest of the week… What is listed under "for education this week" :).

A picture I’d like to share...

Happy for you. Wow, what a picture of that daffodil or narcissus, --- I have those, too, and the little ones, and the flat ones, Hope they are still up when you all come Saturday. AM going to try to get an icecream cake, we can have after we eat at subways, or wherever.

That's such a pretty picture! I love flowers in the spring!
Thank you for emailing me your address.
I'm soooo sorry it's taken me so long to get that letter out. Would you believe it... when you gave me
your address, I couldn't find the letter!?
So I sat down and wrote a new one and sent it out today. Sorry for the long wait :(
I hope you have a great weekend!

About Me

Hi, my name is Alyssa and I am a 16 year old homeschooling girl who is saved by God's grace and wants to live a life that is pleasing to Him. I strongly desire, if it is God's will, to be a freelance writer, author, and film-maker for the glory of God and the furtherance of His kingdom. Some of my other interests include: missions (I am passionate about reaching the unreached with the Gospel), entrepreneurship, reading, drawing, music (listening to music and playing the piano), watching movies, and homemaking.
