| HsKubes' Gal, has (with Miss Peggy's permission) adapted The Simple Woman's Daybook to A Young Maiden's Daybook for us young ladies who are not quite women yet. You can read her orginal post regarding it here.

Today… May 11, 2009
Outside my window… It's sunny.
I am thinking… that we can't allow the "busyness" of life to distract us from what's really important.
I am thankful for… my Mom! Where would I be without you? You have loved me, taught me, trained me, talked with me, listened to me, played with me, helped me, and much more...Thank You!!
I am wearing... A black (with blue lettering) shirt, a jean skirt, and a dark red jacket.
I am reading… The Bible (Psalms right now). I will be starting Nelson's Illustrated Guide to Religions by James A. Beverley. It's 640 pages long! Edit: It's actually 740 pages long (not counting the index). Counting the index, it's 850 pages long :)!
I am creating… A short, short, film (2 min.) and a cross-stitch project. In addition, I need to start creating an essay, a short story, and a screenplay. I am continuing to edit my book.
One of my favorite things... Good weather...not hot and not freezing...in other words, a cool day. (I much prefer cold weather over hot weather :)).
For education this week… Writing, editing, reading, cooking, baking, Thai, piano, and more.
A keeper at home skill I am using/learning … Cross-stitching
A spiritual lesson I’m learning… Patience
A godly character trait I plan to work on… Meek and quiet spirit
Scripture I am memorizing… Review
I am praying for… Various people and people groups/countries. I am praying for my Daddy to get better really quickly from his sickness!
For the rest of the week… What is listed under "for education this week" and "I am creating" :).
A picture I’d like to share...
