| HsKubes' Gal, has (with Miss Peggy's permission) adapted The Simple Woman's Daybook to A Young Maiden's Daybook for us young ladies who are not quite women yet. You can read her orginal post regarding it here.

Today… May 18, 2009 (when I wrote this)
Outside my window… The sun is shining.
I am thinking… that it's so easy to become selfish and self-focused instead of focusing on serving God and our families.
I am thankful for… good food!
I am wearing... A bright bluish-green shirt and a jean skirt
I am reading… The Bible (Psalms right now) and Nelson's Illustrated Guide to Religions by James A. Beverley.
I am creating… A short film, GGM articles, a cross-stitch project, and a short story. I have started creating a new novel; I have discarded the old one for various reasons. In addition, I am editing a different short film.
One of my favorite things... a clean kitchen.
For education this week… Writing, editing, reading, cooking, baking, cleaning, piano, and more.
A keeper at home skill I am using/learning … Cleaning
A spiritual lesson I’m learning… Perseverance
A godly character trait I plan to work on… Meek and quiet spirit
Scripture I am memorizing… Galatians 5
I am praying for… Various people and people groups/countries. I am praying for my mom. She has been having weird dizzy spells off and on throughout the day. They have been very frequent today. We're all thankful she hasn't actually fainted. We all hope to find out what is going on. Please pray for her! Thanks!
For the rest of the week… What is listed under "for education this week" and "I am creating" :). |
