wow. i haven't been on in like months. crazy. So there's nothing really to blog about. Nothing that exciting has been going on or nothing worth telling. lol.

O. except that i finally figured out what i want in life, how i want to live, and what im going to stand up for and believe in.

Geez. School starts on Friday. Or for me anyways. This summer went by so fast. Its crazy. Im nervous about going back. Its highschool. ah. more work. more studying. blah. but yet im excited. In just four years i'll be going to college. Four years ago i was in the fifth grade. Its amazing how fast time goes by. You think back on life and its only like it was yesterday we were starting our very first day of school- thinking we were so big now. Times back then were so carefree ya know. Now its all "how do i look", "i wonder if he's noticed me", "gotta keep my grades up", and worrying about our future. I wish i could not worry about the future and just live in the present. Not wonder whats gonna happen next. Life is zooming past us and with everyone worrying about everything in life, there's no time to enjoy it. People need to find out who they are and not worry about what others think of them. Why cant we all just be happy with ourselves? We constantly "need" something. or we constantly "want" something. I want to just be satisfied with what i have. People may think, "o well easy for you to say. your life doesn't suck". My life does suck. My parents just got divorced after being married for 20 years. and i dont know why. but with how fast life is going by, i want to be happy for four more years and remember the rest of my childhood as GREAT before i have to move out.

so...

i am determined  to enjoy life and try my hardest to make the best of it before it passes me by.

ya. so. who knows about world war 1 and world war 2? well.... i thought i did... but according to my histoy (MACKENZIE) class i don't.  I don't get the causes and stuff right, so i ask the teacher as she is explaining them about the stock market crashing and the depression.

WELL THEN MACKENZIE STARTS BUSTING OUT LAUGHING! and the teacher says thats really sad!

I don't think people take me seriously sometimes ya'll. lol. But the point is.... now i know the causes of world war 1 and world war 2- AND THE 3 "EXTRAS" ABOUT WORLD WAR 2!

Well.....

today was pretty boring. yup. it was. I had to catch up on school work which was horrible :P.  U guys. I can not stand math. i used to like it, but today has changed my mind.

I HATE MATH AND MATH HATES ME!

yup. its true. So i worked on math all day. thats y i hate it. And i talked to a friend on AIM for over 3 hours- we r still talking. lol. but seriously ya'll.... thats about it. so this is my life- my boring life ;)

hey guys. So youth last night was pretty much awesome! Okay...well... we didn't actually talk about a lesson on the bible (we're heathens), but we talked about adam and eve  and the "apple" and after our two minute talk we all piled up in cars and went back to the youth pastors' house to watch THE FIVE PEOPLE YOU MEET IN HEAVEN. ya. it was really good. go see it ok? Actually read the book first and then go see it. Well you don't have to if you don't want to.............but i want you to. :)

Ok ya'll guess what?

Tomorrow is my birthday!

Ya. It is.

seriously.

I promised my mom that i wouldn't say anything about it... BUT ITS TOMORROW! so i just won't say anything to her about it. And then tomorrow i am gonna wake up super early, go into her room, and scream and sing thats its my birthday. What do you think? Do you think she will get mad? Ya i think so. lol.

Well... guess where i am going. I'M GOING TO CHUCK E. CHEESE! WHOOP WHOOP! Its really weird cuz my friends and some adults asked me what i was doing for my birthday and i was all excited and i was like, "I'm going to chuck e. cheese!" and they all either gave me this bizzare look or just laughed. but i don't care. I love chuck e. cheese and its ok to be a kid sometimes. Even on your 14th birthday.

So... spent the weekend with friend and went to her school yesterday. It was pretty cool. Ya. Awe! I have to put pictures up cuz me and her put tin foil in our mouth and made grills. lol. Ya we're dorks, but whatever. It was fun.

And...guess what you guys. My birthday is on Friday! Whoo! I'm excited. Its weird cuz it doesn't feel like my birthday is coming up. Usually i'm all annoying and i'm like, "Hey 2 weeks, 3 days, and 5 hours til my birthday!" and so on, but i haven't done that. ;) I meen...well i don't know what i meen, but it just doesn't feel like my birthday. I'm still excited though. yep yep.

Well...its crazy but that's about it. nothing real exciting is going on in my life right now. ;( so ya. I'm gonna have to say, "catch ya later!"

So this morning i went to go help at a nursing home. We got there and the "big girls" had to pair up with the "little girls". So i paired up with this one kid and she was really sweet. When i walked up to her she said, "Hi your really beautiful." How cute is that! This kid is like 6. I was like, "Awww....that is so sweet. You can be my partner!!" So she and i washed wheelchairs. Then "the big girls" (us) painted all of the elderly womens' fingers. lol. Then we just sang songs and stuff like that. Volunteering is always fun work. So go volunteer to do something this week. :)

I'm back. Safe and sound. No to worry, not to worry.

Well...the trip was good. I still HATE flying though. The trip to Colorado was good, until the landing. My mom said I turned completely white and I felt like I was gonna puke. Ya it was a little scary considering the fact that we didn't have the row to ourselves and I probably would have thrown up on the guy sitting next to me. :0! But  I didn't.

Well, we got there and just hung out on Friday. Didn't really do anything. Then on Saturday, we went shopping! To an outside mall kinda. It was fun. And then we had Doc Popcorn. It doesn't have any kernals and it is delicious! It comes in a bunch of flavors. We had the regular, the chedder cheese, the jalepeno, and a little bit of the cinnamon toast. They sound really nasty but are REALLY GOOD! lol. Let's see and then my mom made a stew and we ate that while watching One Fine Day (one of the best movies!) and then went to bed. The next day (lol) we helped my aunt take down christmas lights. And after that guess what we did. We...went...SHOPPING!And we went to a...weird, bizzare, but fancy mall. The stores were really expensive and the people were the weird, bizzare part . Like we saw this one kid who was about 6yrs old and we couldn't figure out if (he) was a boy or a girl. That's really sad. (His) head was shaved all the way up to the top and than stopped. Then it had this THICK, LONG braid that went all the way down to (his) waste. So we finally settled on a boy. And then we saw other people that probably aren't appropriate to mention if you know what I meen. Well, we finally finished and went to a fish restaurant. I had a whole pound of crab legs (AND ATE THEM ALL THANK YOU VERY MUCH!), my aunt had the mango salmon which actually turned out really good, and my mom had the grilled mahi mahi. And then we went home, packed, shoved all of our clothes in our bags, and then had to say goodbye. Goodbyes are always the worst part of any trip. And then we came all the way home.

So ya that was my trip.

Things I left out of the Story

1. pomeranians are mean
2. flicka is a good movie
3. don't bring liquids on a plane cuz they will take them out of your bag and THROW THEM AWAY AFTER YOU PAID NINE DOLLARS FOR THEM.
4. the huge ziplock storage bags that you suck the air out of actually work!
5. and the part of colorado that we were in didn't have any trees!! none! It looked like kansas. bare, dry, and flat.

I'm  glad to be back in Tennessee

what's new? Well tomorrow i am going to colorado to visit my aunt. i'm kinda nervous. I HATE FLYING. I'm coming back on Monday. ya. but i have to get up at 3 in the morning! How crazy is that? hehe. Hey ya'll. Just got back from YEC!! It totally rocked. It was like for youth groups(or just anyone really). And you go to hear about JESUS! How awesome is that?! While having fun of course. Tons and tons of fun. We didn't go to bed last night until two in the morning. And then got up at six thirty. Barlowe girl was there. They were awesome. So if you live in Tennessee then definitly go!!! And if you don't then fly ALL THE WAY DOWN HERE. just kidding. The message was really good too. The stadiums were filled. Seriously. It was like going to a concert or the circus. EVERYBODY goes to the circus.

Well alright that's all i got to say about that. ;)

Okay so guess what? Brittany Spears shaved her head!!! BALD!

Now i am not a fan of Brittany Spears at all (no offense to all of you who are) but i just feel so sorry for her that she felt like she needed to shave her head. that poor girl. Well if she likes it then that's fine, but I JUST THINK IT IS DOWN RIGHT WEIRD!!! If you want to see a picture go to GOOGLE images and type in Brittany Spears bald. well, ya.

Who saw American Idol last night? That show rox. I just don't like the auditions cuz they make fun of people and it's mean. Well i know one thing for sure and that is that i am NEVER going to audition for it. They would laugh in my face! And it's okay cuz singing isn't really my thing. And if it was it wouldn't be after seeing that show. haha. But those people are very brave for auditioning. And i meen ALL of those people. Ya well now it seems like i am kind of babbling. So i am going to stop. lol.

1. I have no idea who jars of clay is. (AND I JUST FOUND OUT THAT MY DAD DOES! HAHA THAT'S PRETTY COOL!)
2. my tongue curls up when i sneeze
3. one of my pet peeves(how do you spell that?) is that my covers HAVE to be straight when i go to sleep (no crooked blankets)
4. MY ELBOWS CAN BEND ALL THE WAY BACKWARDS
5. if i pop one thing in my body, like my fingers, then i just HAlVE  to pop everything else that will pop: neck, back, ect.
6. i am a M.E.S.S.Y eater. (i have bad hand to mouth cooridination)

Characters: Mackenzie, Lindsey, Kayla, and Announcer, Maddie?, and Samantha (me)

Setting: At tutorial in the lunch room on Friday afternoon.

Announcer: "Okay everyone today is Maddie's birthday so lets all sing happy birthday to her.

Everyone sings. Maddie smiles.

Announcer: Okay there are like 20 cupcakes over here if anyone wants one. So you better hurry if you do.

Mackenzie gets up to get a cupcake.

Samantha: Oh! Cupcakes! Yay! Will someone come with me to get one?

Noone answers the poor girl.

Samantha: Lindsey, will you come and get one with me?

Lindsey: Just go up there and get one.

Samantha: Uh. Kayla will you come get one with me?

Kayla: Samantha just go up there and get one.

Mackenzie comes back with her delicious looking cupcake in her hand with red icing spilling off of the side.

Samantha: MACKENZIE WILL YOU COME AND GET ONE WITH ME?!

Mackenzie: Samantha just go up there, but hurry cuz they'll will prolly be gone soon.

Samantha sadley goes up by herself to get a cupcake. When she gets up there three girs take some and there is only one left. Samantha didn't want to take the last one in case someone else "really really really" wanted it. And she only "really really" wanted it. So she walked back to where her friends were sitting. She told them there was only one left and didn't take it cuz she would feel guilty. They just laughed and then Mackenzie said something that Samantha didn't hear to another girl. Samantha sat down at her original place.

Mackenzie: Hey samantha, do you want my cupcake?

Samantha: No. you have it.

mackenzie: No really. I DON'T WANT IT.

Samantha: Okay. if you aren't going to eat it.

Samantha takes the cupcake and looks at it.

Samantha: What did you do to it?

Mackenzie, Lindsey and Kayla start laughing.

Mackenzie: I promise. I didn't DO anything.

Samantha takes a bite of the cupcake and then quickley spits it out.

Hey everyone! So how is everyone?

Well lets see, Sunday i got back from a camping trip with my girlscout troop. Yes i am a girl scout. A cadet thank you very much! (girl scout cookies go on sale soon!!) but anyway it snowed here in TN so we weren't able to make it up to the campsite on Friday night, so we all met SUPER early in the morning on Saturday. Then we had an hour long drive in the car which actually wasn't that bad. When we got there we unpacked and then went to do crafts after we hung everything up for the thinking day event (which is like international day at your school. Our country was India). At the arts and crafts i made a little trole out of corks and googley eyes. haha. and then we ATTEMPTED to do orogami (that soooo isn't spelled right). Ya the key word is ATTEMPTED if you didn't already know. lol. Ummmm then we did other crafts. We went back to our cabin (okay this wasn't a REAL camping trip because we stayed, in a cabin, but its ok. lol.) and got ready for thinking day to start. Well ya so we did that and o ya somewhere in there we had lunch. haha. Then after thinking day was over we to the lodge to listen to a lady tell about the solar system and all that astronomy stuff. Then we went back to our cabin, had dinner and smores and went to bed. But we didn't go to bed. me and my friend pranked all of the little girls in our cabin. We drew smiley faces on their faces. Now i know that doesn't sound like a very good prank but you have to know the whole story that goes along with the smiley faces. it's really long so i'm not going to type it all out. just know that the story that goes with it makes the prank really funny. (Attack of the smiley faces) Well ya. then we went home the next morning. haha.

did anyone watch the superbowl on sunday night? did the colts win? i missed some of it. Okay i missed a lot of it because i missed half time and all of the great commercials. So ya. But anyway. I talk to you guys later.

Hey guys!

So at tutorial the other day, we were talking about weird laws in different states. AND... did you know that it is illegal to put roller skates on a pig in California? It's also illegal to put an icecream cone in your pocket and 'park' your pet alligator outside of a bar in New Jersey.  I thought those were hilarious! I want to find more. I was talking to my dad about them and he was like, "You know, somebody had to of done those things to make them against the law." And he is probably right. O! And do u know how long the 100 year war was? See, i thought it was 100 years. Hence the title, 100 year war. But actually it was 116 years! Yep. It was. Well if  find any more then i'll let you guys know. haha.

You know, its funny. Its seems like the people at the tutorial talk you into stuff. I think I've been more talked into stuff with homeschooling than any of the other schools that i've been to. So this past friday they had a spelling bee. Now me and my friend (loonylin) were like, "No matter what we are not going to be in the spelling bee!" (you can tell where this is going) Well at the announcements they were passing around the sign up sheet for the bee. My friend and i were kinda trying to hide because we REALLY didn't want to be in it. Well, our teacher "found" us and was like, "girls, come on! It will be sooooo much fun. Its not an embarrasing thing. I'll give you 10 EXTRA CREDIT POINTS ON YOUR LOWEST GRADE if you do it!" Well, of course we got talked into doing it. So we went up there and sat in our asigned seats. I was number 3. Well I got up there and my word was ILLITERATE (I know now how to spell it). I spelled it and was the FIRST person to get out on my FIRST word on the FIRST round. Yep. I sure was. haha. Oh well. I got extra credit points. haha. But ya.

Okay....

so today i went to a new church to visit for my dad because he is trying to get a job there as the worship leader. Well i went with my whole family(except for my mom because she is in Colorado and my lil sis). It was pretty cool. The youth didn't go to their regular class because they were talking about their trip to mexico. Some people went up and talked about their testimonies that happened in Mexico. Their stories were so touching. Well, the pastor got up after that and just talked  about some up coming events and some other stuff. Well, and the end of service the worship team got up and played music while the pastor started asking people if they needed prayer. A few people went up and then more and more and then this one girl got up and they prayed for her and all of a  sudden, she just started laughing. Like the holy spirit got inside of her and she was laughing so hard  that she couldn't breathe. Other people went up there and pretty soon, everyone in the church was either laughing, crying, or on the floor. It was the most incredible thing ever. At my old church stuff seriously happened like that. But I it shut down and i haven't been around that kind of stuff in over 4 years. It was good to know that it still exists.

So a bit of advice: Go into a room, play some christian music and just let the holy spirit enter in, because you will never expirance anything like it. And nothing can compare to it.
