When I get on the computer, our cat will come and jump right over me to get on top of the monitor. This is her favorite spot.
My son came thru the kitchen and asked ,"Why is Satan-Kitty on top of the computer?"
"So she can lick herself and watch me at the same time!"
Ok. That was funnier in person.
We bought an Aim-N-Flame yesterday, and he has just been itching to play with it. He has rounded up all the candles in the house, including those in our hurricane kit, and is sitting at the table behind me,lighting them and blowing them out.(Like a moth, attracted to the light.)
He learned how to light the fire in the fireplace this winter.I am so glad. I HATE that job.He loves it. It was 65 degrees last night and he was just begging to start a fire.
I may need to hide that Aim-N-Flame after he goes to bed! The only reason I bought it was I was tired of trying to find the matches every time we wanted a fire!
My dad, (Thanks dad!), taught him how to light a fire with a magnifying glass and the sun last summer.
Who knew he could sit still that long. I sure didn't think he had that kind of patience. But then again, this is FIRE we are talking about. Not long division!
I better turn around and make him quit before we have to place a call to 911!

We have a fire bug too that like to play with candle wax after the candle is out. She also tried to coat a napkin with wax and it caught on fire. Good thing it was in a jar candle. she splatered wax all over the counter blowing on it. I have to keep the candles that are hot after I blow them out off the counter now.
good luck with your fire bug.
