Fab Five Friday #1

1.  SPENDING TIME with my 3 little sisters

They are so sweet.

2.  Had a fab time TEACHING THE 2'S AND 3'S IN JUNIOR CHURCH on Sunday.   There was 6 o0f them and we read some stories, played with toys had a snack and did some drawing.  We read the Daniel when he was a shepard and the kids colored a picture of the lion and sheep.  One sweet little boys was teaching me how to roar like a lion.   So I roared then a few more joined in.  HAHA was cute.

3.  "BETSY AND THE EMPEROR" by Staton Rabin.   A new book I have been waiting to start reading in History.  It's about 14 year old Betsy Balcombe at who's house Napoleon Bonaparte is being held captive.

4.  I enjoyed watching the "BLUE PLANET"!

5.  Best of all  me an' my mom have been reading "LORD OF THE RINGS" every evening.

Another poem

Another poem by.. (drumroll)...ME!

The Great Birds Flight

  • Soaring accros America's north,
  • Going on back and forth,
  • Flying with grace and speed.
  • Small creatures have the need
  • To hide when hearing wings beat,
  • Before they become an eagles treat.
  • The hunter of the skys.
  • I will tell no lies
  • About the bird flying above,
  • Who God has made and doth love.

Well what do you think? Is it (thumbs up) or (thumbs down)?

Charles Coronation

I thought I would share a poem I wrote in October. The poem is called "Charles Coronation" in "honor" of Charles 1. It takes place at the very beginning of Charles rule.

  • "Charles Coronation"

  • Charles was the king of England,
  • But his coronation went out of hand.

  • Your Queen was from France
  • For her there was no welcome
  • Tried to force her through her door would you?
  • Well she broke the windows and wouldn't come.

  • By yourself you'd be crowned.
  • But then, Charlie, the barge went aground!
  • At the church out of the ring, fell a large Jewel,
  • I wonder how you kept you cool?

  • "God Save King Charles" none did shout,
  • Then a earthquake shook all of England.
  • Oh, Charles, did you pout,
  • When your coronation got out of hand?

PreChristmas in Burnslake

Me and my family went to Burnslake to stay a few days before Christmas at my grandparents. I did plenty of tubing and sleding with my cousin,Cameron, and his future wife,Megan, my grampa , my parents, my sisters and my friends next door. I visited with Aunt Olga, my other cousin, Carla(Cameron's sister), Carla's huband,Blair, and my Aunt Linda and Uncle Wayne(Cameron and Carla's parents). It was wonderfull to see and visit with all these family members. More of my cousins were going to come , but their mother got sick and so they couldn't come. My Gramma and Grampapa also got sick, but thankfully they soon recovered.  On the 24TH we went home and I had a marvelous Christmas with my parents and my three sisters. I do hope everyone else had a wonderfull Christmas with family and friends.
