1 Peter 5:10 (Amplified)

"And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favor], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you."

I like this verse, because often I see myself falling so far short of who I ought to be, who I want to be.  This is not an excuse to give up trying, but it is heartening to have the assurance that God Himself is going to complete me and make me what I ought to be, establish and ground me securely and strengthen and settle me. After I have suffered a little while . . . hmmmmm.
