Jul. 19, 2008 - Swim B-invite
Today we had the town's B-invite, and it started of rather rainy. We were glad we had the tent to set up and camp out under!! But then it cleared up and it really wasn't all that bad of a day.
The kids really did their best! Each one won one of their heats and was awarded a 'heat award' - a little bag of goodies. They each had 3 races, and I am told the top 12 times recieve a ribbon.
Caleb had a personal record in all three races - Freestyle - 25.8 s (12th place); Breaststroke - 32.3 s(9th place!!); Backstroke 32.5 s (12th place).
Jessica did awesome as well and swam two personal record times - Freestyle - 40.8 s PR; Butterfly - 50.8 s PR, and backstroke 50.1 s.
