C4's new ride!
C4 got upgraded and turned forward facing! She is such a big girl! Where did my baby go??! She loved being able to look out the window!

I tried to get a shot of all four - this is the best I could do! I now have four little ones looking at me in the rear view mirror!

Belleve Botanical Gardens and Letterboxing
Grandmom is here visiting! Yay! We ventured over to Bellevue Botanical Gardens today. We had a nice walk, a picnic lunch and went letterboxing. We also headed to a park, PCC, swim class and the farmer's market! A little too much activity for me for one day, but we had a good time!
On a bridge - C1 just had to find the bridges!

just a pretty shot

More pretty shots. I just loved these 'blue' pinecones.

I guess you have to have them do something silly for them all to look!

We found it!! woo hoo!

Tuesday Time 6-24-08
Larena and I met today for Tuesday Time.
We started with circle time and sang the hello song since the children didn't really know each other's names. We sang, "He's Got the Whole World in His Hands" and we talked about how God made us all different and we were made in His image. We also looked at pictures in my Children's World Cookbook at differents foods throughout the world.
We then made some pizza dough.

While the dough was rising we talked about what the top largest countries were and located them on the world map. We also discussed the continents and populations.
Populations:
World:
6,679,493,900
United States:
303,824,650
Washington:
6,468,424
Our city:
4,621
Top 10 largest countries:
Russia, Canada, United States, China, Brazil, Australia, India, Argentina, Kazakhstan, and Sudan.
The children played and had lunch. It was so relaxing and enjoyable!
The cheese pizza!

C4 thought it was yummy!
We had a great time! It was so much more relaxing and enjoyable to meet this way!

Yay another Grandpa comes for a visit!
My father in law came to visit this last weekend. We haven't seen him since December! We sure had a great time seeing him. I didn't get too many pictures. Here is one taken right before he left. My sweetie is all sweaty because he was racing around hooking up our generators because our power went out! This has been such a year of grey, drab, rainy weather!

Marshmellows, toothpicks and forts - oh my!
The children like creating things with marshmellows and toothpicks - this is entertaining for them and a treat all in one!

Here they are playing in a 'fort'. We took out some bushes/trees in our yard and C1 insisted on 'building' with them! |

Water fun for C3
The children are in swim lessons (well three of them that is). I got to take C3 all by myself the other day - of course I had to take pictures!
Practicing her jumps

Not sure what this face is!

I let her play with soapy water in the sink and she had a blast! It kept her entertained for a good 30 minutes!

Look at me, Ma!
C4 is getting so big! She started to crawl this last week!

She is pulling to a stand on things - she hasn't quite figured how to get down just yet! Cruising will be coming shortly! Where has my baby gone?

She is pretty proud of herself.

Surprise visit!
We got to see my dad today! The last time we saw him was in October! We had a great time. We headed to the lake, the kids rode bikes, threw rocks in the water, went to the Watershed Education Center, then we came home had some dinner and he had to go.
I really wish the kids could see their grandparents more often - but we take what we can get!
Here are some pictures from our day.

Field Trip- Pacific Science Center
Our Co-Op went to the Pacific Science Center yesterday. It was the first time we as a family have gone. We really enjoyed it and we will have to definately go back as a family.
The space needle through my sun roof

We have the book The Magic Schoolbus Lost in the Solor System and in it has Arnold's different weights on different planets, so it was neat to see this scale. Here is what all the kids weigh together on Earth and on different planets.

The boys getting ready for a chess game

C3 having a snack and watching the chess game

C4 playing with the chess pieces that the boys were done with, that kept her entertained for a while!

The butterfly exhibit was cool!

We loved the bubble wall.

C3 looking through the periscope

A group shot (minus me)

How does your garden grow?!
We got our garden planted over the weekend! Yay!! We bought an apple tree that has 6 different types of apples.

We also bought two different types of blueberry bushes. We planted from seed some bush beans, green onions, mini carrots, yellow squash, zucchini, pumpkins and a rhubarb.
It doesn't look like much right now - but give it a few months! I can't wait!
