We have been having a great time doing our family unit study. We have come up with our 'family rules' and chore charts. Things are running a little smoother around here. Our family rules are more of a training guide, a vision of what we want our family to strive for. I know nobody is perfect, only Jesus himself, but that doesn't mean we can't strive to act better towards one another!
I want to work on a family tree as well. I don't know how deep and far I want to go with that.
I also want to incorporate talks about eating well and getting plenty of physical activity. C1 loves 'snacks' but his idea of snacks is more my idea of 'treats', so I am trying to establish what is a snack versus a treat.
We spent a nice weekend together as a family. The sun was actually out this weekend and we spent our time outside! It is so wonderful to play outside as a family!
If any of you have any ideas of more things we can do for our family study I would love to hear them!

One idea for your unit study:
You could use family pictures, new and old, to compare features and see who looks like whom (could go with the family tree). You could even cut up copies, mix them, and put them back together to make funny but familiar faces.
I hope that's helpful!
