One of my friends (thanks L.) came and took pics of us for Christmas and individuals of the girls for "school pictures" and here is a preview of some of them...

Dec. 1, 2006 - Winter's Comin'
Here are some recent shots of our lives...seems like life is so busy in the fall that I haven't posted in a while...
Jon had fun burying the girls in all the leaves they raked...this is not even a dent in what we still have to rake. :)

And here is my darling facing his fears in the dead of night...:)
The house looks very pretty thanks to his hard work including laying on the roof hanging by the peak to attach those parts he couldn't reach on the ladder.
I was in the house praying...:)

Oct. 18, 2006 - 'Tis the season...for pie!
Yummy! Our first pumpkin pie of the season...a la Shelby. :)
From start to finish without even a grown-up in the kitchen, Shelby made the crust (grinding the grain for it) and then the rest of the pie. It was excellent!
Good job little baker!!!
Now if I can just train you to clean up the baking mess...

Oct. 2, 2006 - Shelby hits the double digits!

And a wig from Pepperdine Grandma...make-up by Shelby. 
The day was concluded with Shelby's requested birthday dinner: biscuits and gravy, turkey sausage and cheese omelettes(with mushrooms and onions for the grown-ups). It was a good day!

Sep. 6, 2006 - First days of September
Jon built a window seat in the kitchen and we love it! Finished version pictured soon...
We don't even have to get dressed to go back to school! :)
