Fashion/Makeup Tips

Fashion Trends -Plaid: plaid is being seen everywhere, and I personally love it! -Skinny Jeans: Skinny jeans can be worn so many ways, it's hard not to want a pair! -Leather: I'm not all that sure about this one, but someone said leather was gonna be 'in', cause Demi Lovato wears a lot of leather....just thought I'd let you know lol! -Dark Colors-Again, not sure about this one, but I've seen that a lot of popular clothes colors now are dark colors, or deep shades of brighter colors.... It doesn't really matter if you wear whatever's 'in' or not, but I know that it's always fun to read, and that some people really do spend some $ on buying only the latest trends(hello, not me!)....but it's always fun to read, so that's why I posted it! 5 Fall Fashion Must-Haves(5 good investments, especially if you have a tight budget!) 1. At least one pair of sweatpants.  If you're like me, and don't care for the sweatpants that are, oh, tight around the ankles, and you don't think you need a pair of sweats, think again!  They make regular leg sweatpants, and I have a pair or two, and love them!  They go with so much, and are so comfy! 2. At least 2 pairs of jeans.  It's important, though, that you make sure they fit 'just right'...if not, it's almost like it's not worth the money! 3. A vest.  Not like the puffer vests or whatever, but I mean like a black vest(or even another color!)  They go with just about everything, and are a great investment if you have a tight budget! 4. Something plaid...I think everyone needs to own something plaid! 5. A sweatshirt...need I say more??? Tips, Tricks, and Ideas 1. Layer!  With the cooler weather moving in, layering keeps you extra warm, and also makes an outfit look 'complete'! 2.Level!  Wear your clothes in different levels and lengths..for example, try a short sleeve tee over a long sleeve tee, or maybe a skirt or dress or longer tee over leggings...that sorta thing!  Just be sure not to wear too many different levels and lengths, or it'll tend to look choppy! Pics Here's a few pics of some cute clothes!  These are all from WalMart....... Makeup Tips, Tricks, and Ideas I usually do my makeup like in these next 2 pics, but a little lighter...but yeah! Here's how I usually do this make-up(take off your old makeup[if any] before you try it, otherwise it might not look right): 1. Moisturize your skin by either using a moisturizer or just plain-old-lotion.  If you just go with lotion, make sure that you don't use too much, or it will look greasy, or caked, or something lol!  And be sure to rub it in well! 2.  After it's all soaked in your skin, start on the eyes! 3. I've always heard that if you use eyeshadow, you should put on a light coat of a skin color shadow first, as a base...I never did that until recently, but I think that's really important!  Make sure that it's a pale skin color, though...sweep it lightly across your whole lid.... 4. Line around the eye with either black eyeliner or eyeshadow(it works just like eyeliner).  When I do this(with black eyeshadow) I do the top line almost fully across to the inter corner, and then on the bottom lid, I do the mid-outer corner lightly...and then I smear it just a little bit to make it look more natural. 5. I use eyeshadow heavily, but if you only use it lightly, that's fine with this look, even though it's a little bit of a heavy make-up look!  So apply your shadow(gray or white works best for this look-that's what I use) all over your eyelid and a bit past the top of your lid.  6. In these pics, she does her shadow a little higher above the lid then I usually do, but whatever you choose is fine!  Next, use a light color on the outer corner, above your lid, and sweep it lightly for a more complete look.  Also use it lightly on your bottom lid and below your eye(tear duct area). 7. I add sparkles(lightly) but again, do whatever you want! 8. Use a little gloss and you're good to go! If You Are Aloud, But Don't Have Makeup On Hand If you're out and about and forgot some of your makeup, try these tips to pull off a look-alike! 1. Use a bit of Vaseline on your lashes to act like mascara. 2. Use eyeshadow for blush, or the other way around!  Just make sure that it doesn't look caked or fake! 3. Use eyeshadow as eyeliner. I think one of the most important thing, though, is to just experiment!  Do whatever works best for you!

Demi Lovato Concert!

I don't even know where to start lol! A few days ago, I went to a Demi Lovato concert!  It was SO much fun! Our seats were great!  They weren't on the floor, but they practically were cause there were only like 1 or 2 rows in front of us!  So we were like row 2 or 3, and the seats were by the front corner of the stage...so it's not like we were in the far back or anything!  I'll see if I can find a pic to post so you can see the seats better!  It's kinda hard to explain... You know how a lot of stages have a runway in the middle that goes out into the crowd?  Well, Demi's didn't...instead, it had 3 mini-runways...basically just shorter and not as wide!  There were runways on each end of the stage, along with one in the middle.  And then on each side of the stage, there was a runway going out right in front of the crowd on the side section...we were right in front of one of those side-runways!  Again, I'll try and post pics to make it clearer! So first Jordan Pruitt sang...she was really good!  She only sang maybe 4 or 5 songs, but everyone was dancing along!  At first we had to sit towards the top, but it wasn't that high at all cause they had some seats closed off and we just wern't that high up lol!  But we had to sit there at first since someone we know who worked there was getting us in...so we couldn't take anyone's seats!  But we got moved up front after like the first song that David Archuleta sang... After she was done, they got the stage set up for David Archuleta.  He was also really good!  The stage was set up really cool!  Since Jordan Pruitt was like an opener for the opening act lol, she had a very small stage, but I though it was really cool when they set up David's stage...they hung a big curtain in front, and then shone the lights on it so it was blue, and then put his shadow on it...but it was enlarged like 20 times lol! And then music started playing, and the curtain fell into the crowd! He sang maybe like 10 songs, and then there was a 20 minute break while they set up the stage for Demi! Once her band came out, it got so loud in there with everyone screaming and clapping!  She did really good!  She came out on our runway a lot lol!  She sang maybe like 20 or so songs, and then went to change, and came out and sang the last 2 songs...Don't Forget and Get Back!  I thought it was really cool how she came up out of an elevator on a raised part of the stage in the beginning!  And when she left, she exited through that same elevator, but part of the stage is like higher than the rest...hmm, how should I explain it?  Here!  It's like a ramp going up to a higher part of the stage where some of her band is, along with the elevator.  She exited through the elevator, and, with the seats we had, you could see that it just stops at the stage floor, and she climbs out and sneaks back through the curtain...I saw the curtain move lol! Then everyone started leaving...while we were walking on up out of the arena room thingy, my dad got stuck back in line, and so I was waiting for him towards the top, but we were still on the front corner of the stage, and so I was watching people do their business backstage lol!  It's really neat back there!  It's just like behind that little curtain the you can see on stage, and then I could see all these doors for like Dressing Rooms and all that...it was really neat! I got a tee shirt, and they were handing out free magnets with her on them, so I also got one of those! There were a lot of funny things happening at the concert!  Just like the stories they told!  Did you know Demi got hit in the face with a beachball at a concert last year??  They also played videos on the big tv screen before and during the concert break....those were pretty sweet!  Lol! Now time for some pics! This pic was huge, so I shrunk it down a bit!  So that's why my blog's really wide now lol! But as you can see, we were really close!  Right where that spotlight is shining is a runway that came out by us!  But you can't go up there and put your hands up and stuff cause it's blocked off..it's like where all the security guards stay lol!This one's blurry, but it's really close! Another blurry one, but hey!  They're concert photos! Now I didn't take these ones, but here's some more pics from other Demi Concerts! There's kinda an example of the stage runways! Her hair is so dark now, and so shiny!  I like it! Her dress for the last 2 songs.... So yeah!  I had a blast!
