It has been a busy couple of weeks and I know that some of you are wondering what's happened to me because you've sent emails asking if everything is okay. You really are kind. Don't worry, the clan and I are doing well. As well as being busy, one day I woke up, turned on the computer and almost cried when instead of booting up, the screen displayed the dreaded words, "Operating system cannot be found." Of course I knew the day was coming, but in disbelief I continued to turn my computer on and off several more times...okay...several dozen more times, hoping for a different outcome. I think there is a name for that behavior....hmmm...could it be...insanity???
So, in an effort to play catch up, here goes...my daughter turned 13, I turned 30-something, we took a trip to Atlanta to see Disney's Christmas Carol Train, ate at the world's largest drive-in theater The Varsity, put our motorhome in the shop for repairs and spent two miserable nights in a hotel, went to Youthquake 2009 in Cullman, Alabama where the kids and I met Skillet and Decyfer Down, only to have my memory card reformat in my camera so I lost my pictures, we finished our Egyptology class, I bought a refurbished computer and then was disappointed when I found out that for some reason the internet at our campground didn't work on it, returned the computer for a full refund, thank goodness! And ordered a new computer which arrived hours ago. So, forgive my absence and look for some blog posts in the days to come....they're on the way...I promise!:)
