Do you have photo editing software? You need to bring your photos up in that and shrink the dimensions or another term is resize them.

Is is a really good free graphics program called 20/20 that you can use to resize your photos and make them smaller to share on your blog.
Let me know how you do with this.

Hi Lisa! It's been quite a while since I have resized one of my pictures. Do you have Windows XP? Right click on the photo. Choose "Edit." XP will bring the photo up in "Paint." Click "Image" then "Stretch/Skew." The work box opens up. It says 100% by 100%. Just make the numbers much smaller. (By the way, if you want to make a photo larger, just type in larger numbers.) I usually type in 35 by 35. Save the photo. I usually save it with name and the number 35 on it - to let myself know which one I made smaller. Hope this works for you!

I also remembered something else regarding Lang. Arts that I do occasionally with my kids. Do you remember the School House Rock songs? Conjunction, Junction, What's Your Function? ... Interjections, show excitement... We have a membership with a DVD rental company. FamilyPass.com. They have 15,000 educational titles. I just rent the School House Rock videos and let the kids watch them. They love them.

The other thing is Mad Libs. They love making up stories using nouns, adjectives, verbs, etc. You may be able to find some of these online somewhere.

Have a great day!
Sheila
