Dedicated to the Biblical Principle of
Deuteronomy 6:5-8

"Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the door frames of your houses and on your gates."

Apr. 3, 2006 - Lady M's dress is done!
Sewing

I am exctied.  The bloomers took me MUCH longer than I expected, but they are done plus they turned out very cute.  .  I should have waited to hem the dress until the bloomers were done because I ended up taking the dress up another two inches (should have been another three).  The bloomers aren't showing up/sticking out the bottom as much as I had hoped.  For summer I think the bloomers are the perfect length though.  For winter I am going to lengthen the bloomers.  I think over all it turned out way better than I expected.  We have decided that this will be her Easter outfit and I will make Princess C an outfit out of the same material.  I still need to make the bag for the outfit, but that should be pretty quick.  I will post more pictures when I get the next outfit done.

The bloomers are precious. I made them for every dress my daughter wore until she was old enough to modestly wear a dress without bloomers. Seeing your dd in hers brought a warm fuzzy to me. Just too cute! Hugs, J

Eeeekkkk - this is sooooo cute!!

You have prompted me to get busy sewing again!!!! It's been so crazy around here adapting to a new baby, but now that things are calming down, I'm ready to dust off my machine and sew!!

Way to go!! We'll have to IM about what trouble you had with the bloomers to see if there is anything that I can help with.

Hugs,
c
