Apr. 12, 2006 - Almost Done

I spent a couple hours this afternoon and evening working on the dress that goes with Princess C's bottoms.  I have everything done except the arm holes and the bottom hem.  She is very excited about how it is turning out.  The outfit on together almost had an Indian flair to it.  Bright colorful coordinating materials, a loose fitting bottom and a top/dress that goes well past the bottom.  Once I get done with the last couple of items I will have her try it on and pose for a picture.  In the meantime, here is how it looks for now.

Once I get this complete I will have to quickly throw together my skirt for Easter Sunday.  The fabric is beautiful and I can't wait to get my hands on it to begin sewing.  Until we meet again...

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope your family enjoys the Resurrection Rolls - they are so symbolic that even young children gain a deeper understanding. We are looking forward to making them again this year.
