Ok, I have a new favorite show called Jericho. It's an awesome drama, but sadly.... it got canceled! I still like the show though. It made it to the second season. The 3rd season is a comic-book. My favorite character is Jake Green. There is a character named Bonnie shes deaf, it's cool because she really uses sign language! I watch it on Netfilx it's a watch it now! Anyway, here is a picture of Jake:

Hope you liked it!

STORY LINE:
Jericho, picks-up were it left of in season 1, with season 2. The story left off with the people of Jericho fighting for their survival, as they are about to be over-whelmed by a hosteling town, a new government appears out of Cheyenne Wyoming. A government with a new face - flying a new flag. Rated TV-14.
REVIEW:
I like this show, it's my favorite show! I don't like the fact that it got canceled. There is some cussing in it, but not as bad as the first season. You should ask your parents before watching the series. Overall, I love this show!
COMMENTS:
The 3rd season did not make it to TV, but it came out in a comic-book; but the comic book is like $25.

 Dec. 9, 2009 - JERICHO: Season 1

STARS:

STORY LINE:
Jericho, a small town in Kansas finds itself cut off from the rest of the world after a mushroom cloud appears on the horizon, and a TV and radio blackout ensues. Has there been a terrorist attack or a preemptive nuclear strike? Faced with terrifying uncertainty, the town - including the mayor - and his prodigal son - begins to come apart at its seams. Rated TV-14.
REVIEW:
This is a TV series - not a movie, but I thought I would rate it anyway. I like this show, I don't like the cussing in it, but it's a good drama. I don't think children under the age of 13 should watch this show because there is too much cussing in it to be heard by younger children. There is violence, in this show also. I would ask your Mom, or Dad before watching it.
COMMENTS:
This is a watch-it-now on Netflix. I really like this show, my whole family watches it, and we made a pact thing, to where we don't watch an episode with out all of us there. |

Dec. 7, 2009 - The Adventures of Huck Finn
Posted By Dixiecup

STARS:

STORY LINE:
Here's the unforgettable saga of a mischievous youngster and a runaway slave on a wild expedition to freedom. As the pair take the ride of their lives down the treacherous Mississippi River, they run into an entertaining assortment of offbeat characters and face one challenging adventure after another! Based on the book by Mark Twain. Rated PG.
REVIEW:
I liked this movie, it's a touching story. There are a lot of cuss words in this film. But it's a really good movie with out them. Huck is the one cussing most of the time, it's not a good role mottle for kids, but it's a pretty good movie.
COMMENTS:
I like the film just fine, but I hate all the cussing in it, but now-a-days it's hard to find any movie, or show with out cussing.

Nov. 25, 2009 - ALIENS in the ATTIC
Posted By Dixiecup

STARS:

STORY LINE:
The Pearsons' summer rental house has it all: plenty of room, a swimming pool and a space alien camping out in the attic. The kids can't help but love the cute little guy, until they learn that he's not alone, and his buddies aren't as nice. Now, what started as a summer retreat has become a brave quest to save the planet. Rated PG.
REVIEW:
This movie was a lot better that I thought it would be, I thought it would be boring, but it's a really funny comedy! At the beginning of the movie (about five min.) there are a few "bad words" but pretty smooth after that. Also one of the teens, Tom, has a bad attitude, but later gets an attitude adjustment. Over all, great family movie, great comedy, and good story.
COMMENTS:
I liked it! The first time I saw it, I almost died laughing! I'm talking LOL!

The final battle for Middle-earth begins. Frodo and Sam, led by Gollum, continue their dangerous mission toward the fires of Mount Doom in order to destroy the One Ring. Based on the books by J.R.R. Tolkien. Rated PG-13.
REVIEW:
Great movie!! A lot better than the other two. Nothing bad in it, it's a little scary, but you know what to expect after you've seen the others. Great movie, great acting, awesome story! It's great I think you should watch it! (after you ask permission).

Nov. 16, 2009 - Paul Blart: Mall Cop
Posted By Dixiecup

STARS:

STORY LINE:
Paul is preparing for “Black Friday”—the day after Thanksgiving and the biggest shopping day of the year. However, the “mall elves” working in Santa’s workshop have other plans for “Black Friday.” They take over the mall, kick everyone out, except a few hostages, and work at getting credit card security codes. Of course, Paul is locked in the mall and, on his home turf, is able to fight off the bad guys. Rated PG.
REVIEW:
Funny movie, but not the "laugh you heads off" comedy I was looking for, I mean it was funny, but not the whole thing, I don't know. It does have cuss-words in it, but overall pretty funny film! At some parts, kids don't understand. It's more of a teen, and adult comedy.
COMMENTS:
I like it just fine.
