Awwwwwww!!! That is SO stinkin' cute! I just love the little things they say like that. Like Mary, you will "treasure those things and ponder them in your heart."
Thank you for stopping by my blog and sharing with me. I'm sorry that you've been through 2 miscarriages. It certainly doesn't get easier, does it? I love your doctor's advice! I got pregnant with Gracie (age 7) 3 weeks after the D&C for my first miscarriage. I could've missed the opportunity to know her had I taken MY doctor's advice to wait 2 months. And I agree, it IS the best medicine!
Ugh- the insensitive comments! Did I write about what my grandma asked me? I don't remember. She's getting a little forgetful (I guess I am too! LOL!) and she asked me THREE TIMES last Sunday if I planned on having any more children. Well grandma...I've lost 2 babies since Josiah was born, so, um, yes, we are trying for more. (I didn't say that, just told her that yes, we'd like more)
Thanks for posting your chores too! My 10 year old takes our trash to the curb too- I forgot about that one! And yeah, pretty convenient about the grass allergy! LOL! Sounds like our children have very similar chores! Too funny about the cat- yeah, I'd just go ahead and feed him too.
My 4 year old is notorious for putting CLEAN clothes in the hamper! She can't just grab the pair of pants near the top of the drawer, she has to go digging for that perfect pair at the BOTTOM of the drawer... and then leaves her clothes scattered about the floor. You've got a good system going on!
Trying not to take situations too seriously, living each day for the Lord, trying to figure out how to do this homeschool mom thing!
If you have trouble reading my page, try expanding this screen to "full screen". Sorry for the inconvenience... I am working on figuring out how to fix it!
You and dogs definitely have a lot in common.
You're both goofy, happy, and content with the small things in life.
However, you're definitely not as needy as the average dog. You need your down time occasionally.
At your darkest moments, you feel guilty.
At work and school, you do best when you're researching.
When you love someone, you tend to agree with them often.
In friendship, you are considerate and compromising.
Your ideal careers are: business, research, counseling, promotion, and speaking.
You will leave your mark on the world with discoveries, new information, and teaching people to dream.
