My sister tagged me last week, and I am finally getting around to doing this Meme game of tag!   I'm to list five things people don't know about me.

1. I've almost lost my driver's license twice in the past two weeks! (I've got to get another bag!)

2. The people at the smoothie place know what I want before I even open my mouth to order! (How embarrassing!  No really...  I haven't been there in a while, but they do remember me!)

3. I think skirts are more comfortable in these hot summer days than jeans or shorts or pretty much anything!  I have no deep reason for wearing skirts practically all the time except that they don't make me feel as hot down here in the south!

4. I LOVE ethnic food!  I love American food!  I just love to eat!

5. My sis and I have not always had such a great relationship, and I'm going to be a basket case when she and her husband leave the States for their next assignment since she has now become one of my best friends!  Gonna miss ya!

The second tag is about being thankful...

Oh...I'm thankful for air conditioning and smoothies and swimming and our family and my husband and my little monkeys a.k.a. children, and I'm thankful that not all of our fish died while we were out of town!  I'm thankful for our health and home and church, and I'm thankful that my vacuum cleaner works because Hannah wants to put everything in her little mouth, so I have to vacuum every! single! stinkin'! day!  I'm thankful for Japanese food leftovers and that my little monkeys slept late this morning.  I'm thankful that I've forgone a schedule/routine for the next week and a half while I accomplish some special projects and tend to the monkeys' colds.  I'm thankful for our everyday heroes...the armed forces and "rescue heroes!" I'm thankful to have been born in America and that my children will enjoy our way of life. 

Truly, I'm thankful that the Lord has seen fit to bless this family in more ways than I can count more times than I can count!
