Jul. 18, 2009 - Blog Button Vote!
Hey Everyone,
Guess what? Ariel, or godsdaughter, was kind enough to make me TWO blog buttons! I'm so excited, but now I have to pick one. So I decided to put it to a vote. Here they are:

Turning to other events, my sister Arya is coming home from debate camp today! I can't wait to see her. It has been two long weeks! And we're also very excited because she and her debate partner came in second place out of 41 teams! There was a mock tournament in the last couple days of the camp. We were so excited to find out how well they had done! They ended up having to debate in front of everyone at the whole camp, all of the instructors, students, parents, everyone! And they just barely lost the final round. Six judges voted for the other team, and five for Arya and her partner. So close!
Oh, and please remember to keep me in your prayers on July 22nd. That is when I will be having my four wisdom teeth removed and I am still pretty nervous about that!

Aw..I wish your sister and her partner could have won! My sisters just came home today too. They have been gone for 2 weeks! :( I'm glad they're home!

I am having my four wisdom teeth out August 6th, so I will certainly remember to pray for you! Where are you going to get them out? Do they do that on base?

Yes! So glad! They are both older than me! I share a room with one of them! They are both about to go off to college... :( They get to come back every weekend though....and, I'll get my own room all week! :)

Yes, the fair is alot of fun. =) Yesterday we went on all the rides and such, and helped at this place called "The Gingerbread House." It's a little house painted to look like a Gingerbread House, and we invite kids in to listen to Bible stories, and then we paint their faces afterwards. Anyways, I had a 4 hour shift....and boy was it hot out! But it was funner because I had a painting-faces job. =)
Oooh, SO close for your sister! That's too bad....but it's neat she got to do that and go that far! Good for her!
Ah.......=P Wisdom teeth. FOUR??? Ahhh!! I will DEFINITLY be praying for you, Christine!!!

No, I haven't done much face to face debating, but I've had arguments with liberals on the Internet before. So I don't belong to any debating group per say. I'll be happy to post more of my views is in the future!

Wow, you must be insanely allergic to poison ivy! I'm actually not allergic to it at all. We used to live in a house that had woods behind it. And the woods were full of poison ivy. My brothers used to get poison ivy a couple times a year, and I never even got it once, even though I was definitely exposed several times. So, if lip gloss is the worst thing I have that I'm allergic to, I think I got off easy :)
I'll pray for your surgery on your wisdom teeth. My older brother is having his 4 wisdom teeth out too--actually, his surgery is on the 22nd as well.
Congratulations to your sister! Debate camp sounds like fun.
I really like the second blog button. The floral design goes with the your blog template. (Plus, it's just really pretty.) Of course, the first button has more of a writing theme, but I still think I like the second one better. They're both really neat!

OOOOOOOOHHHHHH..... this is so hard... well, I like the first one better. First of all, it TOTALLY reminds me of you ;) and second, since it only has black and white, it'll match w/ any template :)

The funny thing is today I went to the orthodonist and he said that I don't have to get my wisdom teeth removed! Yah!
