Weekend in Muskegon, MI

On Friday afternoon we drove up to stay with DH's second cousin in Muskegon, MI for the weekend. We had a great time with MI family and friends who came over on Saturday night for dinner and lots of yummy food prepared by our gracious hostess. Saturday morning we hit the craft show and Sunday morning we visited DH's cousins' daughter who is expecting her first baby in Feb./March. How fun! Hope U enjoy the pics.

This is the front and side yards of their 7 bedroom/5 bath home! It is hard to capture the all the work they put into the lovely gardens. As you can see, we did miss some of the rain. Their most gracious hospitality extended to us 3 bedrooms and our own bath on the lower level which, by the way, had a giant game room which the kids loved; a sitting room with a tv, another bathroom and a walkout to the beautiful yard with a creek at the bottom. I think I would like to just sit out their all day long. :)
