The Simple Woman's Day Book

For Today...

Outside my Window......cool, dark & rainy. nice for candles.

I am thinking..that we will have to be closing down the pool for the summer. :(

I am thankful for...soft, warm quilts on the couch :o) and the love I see my older children giving to their younger siblings......

From the learning rooms...The American Experience 1900s on video and conjugating verbs.

From the kitchen... one pan chicken enchilada skillet; peanut butter and peach fruit spread on homemade "golden 86" wheat bread; cherrios, blueberries and rice milk.

I am wearing...shorts and a flowery feminine shirt

I am reading......The Simple Woman's Gazette and back issues I just received in my email box.

I am hoping.....to get an early start on the day tomorrow. It will take 21 days to get into a new habit.

I am hearing....little giggles from the other room.

Around the house....letters to mail; a chocolate cake under glass that my oldest son made last night; chocolate mint no-pudge brownines that I made sitting on the stove; dim lights; kleenex boxes.

One of my favorite things...cozy rainy days

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week...thinking about taking the girls on a weekend to Chicago; art and piano lessons starting up again; support group leader's meeting; catch up on laundry; setting up some fall schedules.

I just wanted for you to know that I added you to the Mister Linky now so that others can find you:-) All you do is put your name in the top box and then your permalink (the one to your daybook) in the second one. If you come over to the daybook and look, you will find your name.
