The younger kids and I had such a great time today!  We went to the Estrella War XXII.  It is a annual event nearby which combines many "kingdoms", and "lands" during Medieval Times--  (600AD-1600AD) There are battles, archery, marketplace shopping, demonstrations, etc., etc.  It is put on by the "Society for Creative Anachronism" http://www.sca.org

Very incredible to see thousands of people dressed up in Medieval garb!  Sara really got into it, hence the picture of her in her peasant dress...

That looks like so much fun. I wish there was something similar to that in our area. :) Beautiful little girl.
