A NEW BEGINNING

6,092 years ago, there was a cave. In the cave, a visorak base. Leading the 100,000,000+ visorak, a Makuta named Vatun. A Toa named Reva had defeated Vatun long ago. Now, Vatun wanted revenge. He sent three Rahkshi to destroy Reva Nui. The plan backfired. The Rahkshi destroyed Reva Nui's stability, sending it hurtling down. The island of Reva Nui crashed through the cave roof! Reva Nui crushed the visorak base, and shattered Vatun's armor, letting his spirit leak out. The Reva nui matoran think he is dead. They were wrong. Vatun attacked, helping Teridax, the leader of The Brotherhood of Makuta. They fought, but lost to a yellow-clad warrior named Mata Nui. But Teridax made one last move, sending the Mask of Life deep into the ground. Evil warriors looked for The Ignika, but did not find it. Now, a new Warrior will come to Reva Nui, to insure a safe future for all Matoran.

"Why would I make it up?" asked Vireva, the former Vilika, and now a Toa Reva. He was talking to Vatua, President of the Jetpack Club, and a fun-seeking friend of Vilika from the start. But Vatua always disagreed with the other matoran who believe any matoran could be destined to become a Toa, but it was not long ago that seven matoran, including Vireva, had done just that thing. "So you look like a Toa. I still think this is s trick, Vilika. You aren't a Toa," said Vatua. "A matoran can't do this," said Vireva, as he blasted a rock carving with elemental lightning. Just then, an Agori named Lero ran up to him, asking, "Are you a Toa?" "Yes," was Vireva's reply. "Good! We need help in Lereva, my village! We're being attacked!" said Lero.

The three of them reached Lereva via underground chutes that ran under most of Reva Nui. By the time they got there, Vatua belived Vireva was realy a Toa. "There they are!" said Lero, as he pointed at two warriors. One was tall and black, the other short, but with an oversized jetpack. Vireva blasted the tall one with high-power lightning, but it only shocked him slightly. His reply was to blast the three with lightning so powerful that it made all three drop to the ground, leaving the two with a perfect escape.

On the other side of the island, energy zapped a powerful form into being, but there was no life in this warrior. No mask was fitted on the headpice. No weapon was in his hand. Slowly, particles flowed in the sky above the strange being. The Kanohi Ignika, Mask of Life, hovered in the air. The mask had been to Kini Ridge many times, but this time was special. It slowly attached to the headpiece, and blue eyes opened. A silver sword formed in his hand, and Toa Reva Katia's silver armor gleamed in the sun as the warrior stood up. He had a mission. Protect the Matoran and Agori, justly rule Reva Nui, and protect it from Makuta Vatun's attacks. Toa Reva Katia walked down Coliseum Mountain, knowing he might not succeed in his mission. Unity, duty, destiny. That is how I will win. The warrior said to himself as he started his journey.

ENDGAME

Rantou crawled across the cave floor. He saw a mask in front of him, and he knew if he put a mask on, he would be at Full power, so he put the Mask of Shattering on his face. Rantou smiled. No, Vatun smiled. Vatun walked of, in Rantou's body. He walked to Makuta Teridax, Leader of the Brotherhood of Makuta. "Vatun, why are you here? Asked Teridax. " To help. I put my spirit in this Kanohi. If anyone wears it, I take control of their form." answered Vatun. " Why are you here, Great Makuta?" "I came because I heard Mata Nui, my 'loved' brother, is coming to claim the Mask of Life," said Teridax. " When he comes, I will kill him."

Malletou walked up the stone path to Kini Ridge. Under his arm, he carried a huge rock. The rock, called The Mata Stone, was the key to turn the Mask of Life gold, and bring Mata Nui to Reva Nui. As he put the rock in its place, Maleetou watched the cave roof. As the rock, with a loud noise, took position, an object that looked like a shooting star flew to the Mask of Life, witch rested near the edge. As the energy beam hit the mask, it turned yellow/gold, then gold, then yellow/gold again. Energy pulsed through rock. Then, the mask flew forward. As the mask hit the ground, it exploded in energy. When the energy cleared, a Reva Bug saw Maleetou helping a yellow-clad warrior to his feet. "Maleetou?" asked the warrior. "Is it you?" "Yes, it is me," said Maleetou. "Why am I here? Why are you here?" "I came to help you, Mata Nui," said Maleetou. " Help me with what?" asked Mata Nui. "For our job, I need a Matoran, a Toa, a Great Spirit and myself," said Maleetou." We must put Reva Nui where it belongs. "So… Mata Nui, we meet once more," said Teridax. He had crept up behind Mata Nui, but Maleetou had somehow left without them noticing. Vatun jumped down from a tree. Mata Nui saw a shield in a cave. He said," I will fight you one-on-one, Makuta, but no friends will help you." "Fine," said Teridax. Just as the word came out, Mata Nui leapt in the cave, grabbed the shield, plus a launcher, and charged Teridax! He hit him with full force, the shied almost breaking from the impact! Teridax flew nine yards back! He scrambled into a cave, even as Mata Nui fired his launcher at Vatun! Vatun ran quickly after his leader! "Well done," said Maleetou. He had simply turned invisible, allowing the battle to rage around him. "Now we must do our task,"

Vatua, America, Mata Nui and Maleetou stood on Coliseum Mountain. They held hands, letting energy flow through them. As one, they said, "Unity," then "Duty." then, "Destiny!" As they said that last word, the island of Reva Nui streaked upward, at sickening speed. It stopped at the surface, turning Wastelands into beaches. Vatun's dead body lay on the ground, but Teridax had survived. Mata Nui said, " I must return to my home, and wait for the Toa Nuva to truly awaken me." "Yes, you must," agreed Maleetou. "As it was, Unity, Duty, Destiny. This truly is the way of the bionicle."
