Nov. 27, 2009 - withdrawal

I'm going into withdrawal. Nascar season over. It was just gettin' good. And I'm not talking about JJ's shiny trophy. I'm talking about the rivalrys. Denny Hamlin vs Brad Keselowski and Tony Stewart vs Juan Pablo Montoya. Can't we just have one more race? It is gettin' cold now, but I'm sure Denny and Brad's hatred would warm it up. Can't we have one more race with Tony and Juan next to each other in the garage, their rivarly confined in that small space between them?

What sucks about this season is that my guy, if not for his 3 DNF's, most likely would've been crowned champ. He was 317 points behind JJ when the season ended. Each of those 3 Chase DNF's cost him about 100 points each. He posted BETTER finishes then JJ in 5 of the 10 Chase races. He's going to win a championship in the next year or so. I mean, he even had more wins then the 4-time champ Jeff Gordon this season (Denny had 4, Jeff had 1). Denny obviously can win a championship. His pitt crew is one of the best. For example, when most of the other cars were posting 14-second pit stops, Denny's team had him out in 12.3 seconds. That, my friend, takes a good pit crew. And Denny has set at least one NCSC record (that I know of.) He was the first rookie in NASCAR Sprint Cup history to make the Chase. (Of course, there hasn't been much opportunity for other rookies to do so, since they only started putting "THE CHASE" in the NCSC in '04 when they redid the points.)

Well, I guesses that the Broncos winning a game again SLIGHTLY pulled me out. They won 26-6 over the Giants on Thursday night.  Man, the Giants can win a Superbowl but they can't win a game? They do have 6 wins, but they also have 5 losses. Seriously. Well, I just hope the Broncs can make the playoffs. They need 10 wins to get in, therefore they need 3 more wins. Looking at their schedule, there's definitely 3 wins there. Like, next week they're playing a 3-7 team, and I think that team, I can't remeber what team it is, is definitely headed for 3-8. Actually, 3-9, because whatever team this is is playing on Sunday, and the game isn't until the next Sunday. The Broncs don't play this Sunday because they already had their game on Thanksgiving.

Ack, have I tortued you enough with, my rantings? If you think this is annoying, listening to the professional sports ranting of an 11 year old pyschopath, be glad that I don't send you my weekly 2,000 word rants about NASCAR. Of course, I probably won't send those regularly during the off-season, becuase there won't be any races to rant about. Darnit...WHY CAN'T NASCAR GO YEAR ROUND?! Well, I guess it would get a little tiring if they did it all year. I guess they think 36 races, which is like 33 weeks, is enough for one year. And I guess they have a shorter off season then the NFL, because NFL goes just during the fall and winter, while NASCAR goes winter, spring, summer, and fall, with just December and January as the off season.

I feel like ranting longer than normal, because I'm so bored. It's just so boring today. Had to get up at 5:30. I've spent the majority of today walking back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back and forth....Pacing is what I do when I'm bored, and I was totally bored today. Had to spend a good portion of the day pacing back and forth because of nothing to do. That is why I didn't want to be dragged along on this Boy Scout campout. At least I get to stay in a hotel with my mom instead of camping out. But still, this is boring. I'd almost rather go a whole Nascar race without mocking Brad Keselowski, Dale Earnhardt Jr, and Jeff Gordon. Ack. If I had a choice, I would be typing this on my PC instead of borrowing my dad's laptop to bring to the motel. At least a laptop is better than nothing, even if it's old and has none of my files or Denny Hamlin pictures or rants or heavy metal Christian music or anything like that. Still...I'd rather watch bread grow moldy. I'd rather go a whole day computerles-scratch that thought. I couldn't. But there's alot of things I'd rather be doing. I hope I sleep in past 10:00, 'cuz the Girl Scouts (my official nickname for the BSA) do their service project crap then and if I get up before then, mom's going to drag me over there. Ah, life is boring and cruel. The loooooong car ride over here was more fun, even if I couldn't pace. I just wish I didn't have to get dragged heck over here. At least I got some good photos of cranes and deers and geese and ducks and stuff like that. That's a plus. As far as I can tell, though, it's the only plus.

Well, I suppose I'll rant about another topic. Like...um...I don't know. Before the fall race at Bristol '09, (which Kyle Thomas Busch won, by the way. Yes, Thomas is Kyle's middle name) I could've listed tons of stuff to rant about. But that race at Bristol, I actually started to pay attention to NASCAR, and before you knew it, I was obsessed. I already was a Denny Hamlin fan - had been since Richmond '08 where Denny led 381 out of the 400 laps and then blew his tire - and before long, I was more of a fangirl. (not  like the really creepy fangirls, though.) I blame this all on my mom. If it wasn't for her, I would have never watched the #1 spectator sport on televison, the sport with 17 of the top 20 most attended sporting events, the world's hottest sport. Of course, I can't blame my Denny Hamlin obsession on Mom, 'cuz she's a Matt Kenseth fan who more than likely doesn't care about Denny or know anything about him. I know alot about Denny. For example, his full name is James Dennis Hamlin Jr. He was born on November 18th, 1980, in Chesterville, Virginia. His home track is Richmond Int'l Speedway. He has 8 career wins in his 4 year career. In 2006, he was 3rd in the points standings. In 2007, he was 11th in the points standings. In 2008, he was 12th in the points standings. In 2009, he was - is - 5th in the points standings. He spends his free time boating, skiing, flying airplanes, playing cards, and competing in online racing leagues. He lives in South Carolina - or was it North Carolina? - with his high-school girlfriend. See? I know alot about my guy. Mom doesn't even know her guy's middle name. I guess though Mom has been a fan longer, I'm more of an obsessor.  Know what I don't get? Mom hates Carl Edwards because he got into a fight with Matt Kenseth, but Jeff Gordon tried to punch Matt in the face and Mom STILL likes Jeff. (Random: Mom calls Jeff's pit crew the Dupers because of the Dupont sponser, but I call them DuPain) It's weird. Actually, though, she hates Carl 'cause he seems like a fake to her. But half of the reason is 'cause he got into a fight with his teammate.

Whadaya know, I DID find something to rant about.... I guess I got carried away.

Why doesn't everyone pick Denny Hamlin as the beste NASCAR driver ever?! Escpecially when he obviously is?! Why does everyone like Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr, the 2 guys I can't stand?! It doesn't make sense. Dale Jr can't drive and is annoying, Jeff actually can drive but is annoying and whiny. Jr and Jeff are so stupid, how can anyone like them?!?! And they both look so scary, how can Jr have had the second most votes in the "Who is the hottest driver in NASCAR?" poll on the NASCAR      fan(girl) club on Fanpop?! And who can Kasey Khane have gotten the most votes?!?! Denny should've gotten all the votes in all of the polls (except for the who's stupid, who's ugly, etc. polls. Then Jr and Jeff should've gotten all the votes.)!!!!!

Hey, I wonder who's going to throw the rookies parties. Probaly Denny and Kyle would do one for Joey, and Brian would do one for Scott.

Know what I don't get? How can Carl Edwards walk out of a 185mph crash UNTOUCHED and then break his foot playing frisbee?? (I haven't confirmed how he broke his foot but I'm going to go with what the NASCAR.com Power Rankings said)

Sep. 28, 2009 - NASCAR Dover Rant

Pretty good NASCAR race at Dover. Jimmie did pretty good, congrats to him on the win.

 I'm a little disappointed at Denny, he finished 22. This is the first time in 7 races that he's finished out of the top ten, but Dover, the Monster Mile, always has him finishing in the back. It's just one of those tracks for Denny that it doesn't matter about your skills, or your car, you just suck at it.

 I feel sorry for Joey after that frustrating wreck, though. And it was only lap 32, for Pete’s sake. But for those who are wondering what I'm talking about: Bobby Labonte slowed down a little, so Joey slowed down. Tony, who was behind Joey, didn't see it coming and rammed into the back of Joey's car. Joey spun out, and spun right in front of Reed Sorenson. Reed, not being able to do anything, rammed into Joey, and Joey's car did 7 or 8 summersaults. His car was completely totaled, and he got his first DNF (Did Not Finish). He said it scared the heck outta him and was worse than any roller coaster he had been on in his 19 years. I also feel sorry for Tony. Apparently he a Joey are buddies, since Joey moved into the #20 car that Tony had for the past 10 years, but Tony formed his own team and now has the #14 car. Tony doesn't want to make contact with anyone, much less Joey. So I feel sorry for the bothes of them.

 But hopefully Denny and Joey will both do better on the nest race at Kansas Motor Speedway. One at with Denny doesn't have such a bad history, and Joey obviously, being the rookie, has not history with at all. Well, I wish everyone (except Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhart Jr) a better race next week.

 I hope Jimmie can get the points lead, even if Denny Hamlin is my favorite, I want JJ (Jimmie Johnson) to win his 4th consecutive title, making NASCAR history. If he can take the lead from Mark E Martin.

 Don't get me wrong, Mark Martin is a great guy (I tink) but Jimmie needs to make Nascar history. Ain't Mark getting a little old for this, anyway? His first Nascar start was 28 dang years ago. He's in his 50's, for Pete's sake. But he's probably gonna race for the next 10 years. He's definitely racing for the next 2, then probably a few more, and probaly right into his 60's. If the good die young, then what does that say about Mark?

Kyle should've made the Chase, though. He's got 4 wins this season, nearly identical to Mark's 5. Kyle is a great racer, he just needs more consistency and he'll win the Chase sometimes. To bad the Chase guys are locked in. Kyle had one last chance to make it into the Chase3 weeks ago, and he blew it. He deserved it more than Brian.

 Well, maybe Brian deserved it more. Kyle's already the leader in the Nationwide series points, and Brian races only in the Sprint cup (I think) and isn't really the world's best driver (That, my friends, is Denny Hamlin in my book, Jimmie J in the real world) I guess he deserved the Chase. The Chase would just be one more award on Kyle's shelf, and the only award on Brian's shelf. (Well I think he's won 2 or 3 races in his entire career)

Aug. 16, 2009 - Back Again?

I just heard a few hours ago that Brett Farve is coming out of retirment. AGAIN.

2 years in a row. Why can't he just stay retired?

He's on the Minnesota Vikings this time. Funny thing is, he absolutely STINKS at the whenever he plays at the Vikings' stadium. Maybe they'll have to use the back-up QB whenever they play at their stadium.

I bet Brett's wife is getting tired of changing her favorite team.

I hope the Packers beat the Vikings sometime in the near future.

Haven't updated for a while..been super busy...well since this is a random blog here are links 2 wat I think r the best websites....not in any paticular order...

DragonFable is a free web RPG. You can create up to 3 different characters w/out an Amulet, and 6 with one. You go on quests, battle monsters, and stuff like that while gaining experence points and gold. Every time you get enough experience you level up, and gain 20 HP and 5 Manna.

Poptropica is an awesome website. You create a character and go to different islands trying to complete each island quest. There are 9 islands with the tenth coming soon. (actually I haven't been on poptropica for a while so Reality TV Island might already be here...i don't know)

DeviantART is the world's largest online art community. You can post art, view and comment on other's art, build your own art collection, and much more. If you want 2 find me on there my page is here.

Now I back so I can rattle on & on about useless stuff! I can talk about anything I want to; it's not like anybody reads this all the time!

Ember Mcclane is awesome. She's my favorite villain on Danny Phantom, my third favorite overall!Sam's my number one favorite. She's independent and doesn't care what others think. Plus she's goth, and on all my fave TV shows my favorite characters are the goths and the punks.Dani's number four. So she's a clone of Danny; who cares?

Danny is my second favorite. Whether he's Fenton or Phantom, he's awesome (and cute)!So these are my top 4 favorites on my second favorite show!I love the game 'Dance Dance Revalution.' So I stink. I can do much better in the online version!I ♥ sports! So I'm like TDi's Tyler -- the jock who stinks at sports. Oh well. They're still fun! I'm a little envious. I love GoCarts! Once, we went to a fun center, and my dad almost left me there. Only because I beat him at go-carts. It's one of the few sports I don't stink at.CourtneyxDuncan is my favorite couple. This fan art about describes them - Duncan is a delinquent who ALWAYS breaks the rules, and Courtney is a goody-two-shoes who always follows them. Man, my life is SOO boring. Went 2 WI last week, for 2 days (and 2 days of endless flying) My computer's probaly gonna crash soon, so I better back up my files pretty soon.I ♥ this picture. So Gwen would NEVER, NEVER EVER, wear that. Does that clothes look gothic to you? But it look like me. Except I don't have teal & black (actually its green) hair. My hair's more sandy, blonde, brown, and red. Seriously. Never even dyed it or anything like that. Since it's 11:53pm, i hafta go to bed at midnight. I better get offline pretty soon. Well I still have 7, make that 6, more minutes to rattle on.This pic's pretty cool, too. Her pose, that's me listening to my Zen. (Creatize Zen Mozaic LX, to be exact.)I love singing. Expecially Time After Time. It's not my favorite song, but I can sing it perfectly. Its one of only 2 songs that I can sing flawlessly (other is We're Not Going To Take it by Twisted Sister)

GO STEELERS!!!!!! BEAT THE CARDINALS!!!!!!!! I hope Pittsburg wins the superbowl. I don't like Arizona. My favorite team is Denver Broncos, but they didn't get into the playoffs for the third year in a row. The expert prediction for the superbowl was completely wrong. They predicted: NY JETS vs TENNESSEE TITANS. The Jets didn't even get into the playoffs and the Tennessissys made it but got ousted.  I hate the Tennsessissy Titey-Whiteys. (aka Tennessee Titans)

Our president is a dork. I'm 100% anti-obama. And anti-biden. Mccain was a dork too but he was better than Obama. GRRR. Some people say if your 4 Mccain your a racist, but if they voted for Obama because he's black they are the racist.

Well now I have to feed my 3 cats and do my piano practice.

Boring day. Went to church. Listened to my CREATIVE ZEN MOZAIC LX. Watched YouTube videos. Ate lunch. Got back online.

What is it with Hannah Montana???? I take some AMH CO-OP classes in Albuqueque every other Friday. Since this Friday was the first day of the new semester, we all had to stand up and say 2-7 things about ourselfs, even though everyone in the class was here last semester so we all know each other. When it was my turn, I stood up and said, "I'm Lydia and I love football and hate Hannah Montana." Everyone was all cheering. My friend Aspen said, "Amen!!" It was so funny.

Friday night I went roller skating. It was the first time in my life I had ever worn skates so I had no idea how to skate. I came back home covered in bruises with a sprained wrist.
