All I Want For Christmas . . . .

Posted in Single Moms as Keepers at Home

Well, the title sounds a little worldly, and commercial, and for this I do apologize but it so fits.  I know this is the season for giving, but there is one thing I want, that my heart truly desires, this year for Christmas and I am sharing it here, not because I think any of you can provide it, as the matter of fact, I am almost certain that you can not.  What you can do is be in prayer with me for the next 10 days over this.

What I want for Christmas is to find a way to support my family from home, so that I can continue to homeschool, free of the welfare system

The requirements and demands that our state places on welfare recipients are not conducive to homeschooling, but we are better off financially, as well as spiritually and emotionally, than we would be if I were to seek employment outside my home.

In the past, I've provided family childcare, but in our new home this is not an option.  Neither is providing sewing lessons.

I know the Lord wants us exactly where we are doing exactly what we are, what I don't know is the how of it.

So, I would ask that you would pray with me for the next 10 days that the Lord would show how we would be able to continue to do this, that He might be glorified.

Praying your Advent season is filled with giving,
And may you see the Lord's blessings on your day.

I'll be praying. I know where you are coming from, sort of. I have a part time job, but would love to be home full time.

Just a thought.....I know where you live doesn't allow you to do business in your home, but could you teach sewing lessons somewhere else? Like in your student's homes or in a church or community center? I don't know if that's an option for you.
Still praying!
