Lap Robes for Hospital Chaplaincy Services

Posted in Gallery of Past Quilts

The church we attended for a couple of years before our move this past fall had a Ladies Aid group.  One of the things I enjoyed was making these 40" x 40" two layer (no batting or blanket in the center) lap robes for the ministry.  The Ladies Aid then donated all the laprobes to Hospital Chaplaincy Services.  These are just a sample of some of the quilts I did for this project.

Hi, I have not been on here much lately. I've been busy with the new baby and wasting my time on other sites. I just wanted to say congrats for making blogger of the week. Also your quilts are gorgeous. I really would like to do more quilting, but it is a little bit more detailed than what I am good at.

The ladies at our church in Corinth go over and help at Hospital Chap. once every 2 months and we have workdays for sewing and crocheting, etc. at our church every couple of months to make stuff for them.
What a small world it is!
I'm not going to the convention this year. It sounds like a good one though! My very good friend is going with a couple of her kiddos and they are very excited about it. :)

God bless,
Penni
