~Thanks for stoppin' by my blog! About myself, I am a fifteen year old young lady, with the hope of someday becoming a wife and mother while serving the Creator. Old fashioned things, farms, and novels have their place in my world, not to mention Medieval Literature of fair maidens and courageous knights. Beth March, Elizabeth Bennet, Elinor Dashwood, and Miss Georgiana Darcy are some of my heroines. I also live alone with my parents, dog, 5 cats, and around 20 chickens. Walking in the woods, writing the suspense, romance, and historical, playing the piano, reading novels, stargazing, baking, and blogging are some of my hobbies, along with our arrival of our beehive. I enjoy just sitting around and listening to classical musical, symphonies, and good old oldies on podunk radio stations. Enjoy your stay, and don't forget to comment! ~

A few days ago, a friend allowed us to borrow two creation science videos, since we had loaned him a video concerning the Old Testament.
We watched the first one as a feature on Sunday night, and then on Tuesday afternoon, we watched one for Science, since I had just finished a module and only missed a half of a question.
The Case for a Creator by Lee Strobel, Sunday night feature, was very interesting and understandable. It was about a evolutionist scientist who was ardent for his worldview, until his wife became a Christian. He was curious how such a change could take place in someone's heart, so he went about looking for evidence and then he would come out with the truth.
Leaving his presupposed beliefs at the door, he talked to astronomers, geologists, and many other well known professors of the different scientific realms; Christian and none Christians.
And after gathering all the facts, he concluded that there was a God, who he needed to ask forgiveness from and now Strobel is an ardent Christian and his created worldview. Also, the visual affects and animated examples are fascinating.
Feature Two, Everything is Spiritual by Rob Bell. Mr. Bell is basically in front of a white wash board, that extends maybe twenty feet upon the stage. He then visualizes and writes down little details of all the information he is giving. He is extremely funny, and makes you understand things that you would've forgotten by another speaker two minutes later. He starts in Genesis, and works his way to the meaning, and proof of the created universe.
Both are excellent features, the first is better if you have younger children who just want to see quick snippets of information that is animated, but the second is also good, but more verbal and quickly drawing some examples of what he is talking about.
Well, everyone have a good day, enjoying wet slush (like we are) or basking in a warm sunset.
