Horses are curious, willing creatures that have fun personalities, and enjoy a little girl's love. I have three horses, one I am leasing. Kayro is my Quarter Horse. He was my first horse, is gentle, sometimes ornery, and very big.

Beau is my little Arabian. He is fast, spunky, and also almost 30 years old! He loves to gallop, and so do I, so we get along great. I love gaming with Beauzie. He knows how to barrel race and pole bend better than me! If there's anything Beau does best, it's run and prance!

Natalie is my Paint. She's the one I'm leasing. She's willing and sweet. I use her in 4-H, and she's great. Nattie does best with Western, though I hope to do English Jumping with her this year! Drill team is what I love doing best with her.

I love my horses!

Well, I finally decided. I simply cannot bring myself to sell my horses! They are my best friends! I will enjoy the small dirtbike I have now. "Be thankful you actually have both!" I told myself. So, Thank you God, for allowing me to have a dirtbike and horses, I will not be ungrateful! I found it helps to write the pros and cons.
Positive things about having a horse:
1-when you want some love, (horsey hugs and slobbery kisses) they love you back
2-they "talk" to you (a whinny for "I'm thrilled to see you!", a nicker for "Hi!" "I love you" and "Please?", and a snort for "OK, i'll listen.", "Yes", and "Thank you".) At least that's how I imagine it!
3-They are so much fun to ride!
4-They have personalities, just like people (Explanation: one horse loves attention, the other could care less, one horse is willing and sweet, the other is lazy and self-centered...etc.)
5-When you gallop, it feels like you are flying
6-They have beautiful shiney coats, long soft manes and tails, velvet noses, and cute ears.
The Negatives about having a horse:
1-It's expensive to own, feed, and buy one
2-It can be dangerous
3-It's hard to go on vacations, because you can't leave them alone for too long
4-It's expensive to take them places (shows, 4-H, etc.)
5-They don't have an OFF switch
6-It takes a lot of training to be able to ride one properly, especially for shows
The Positives about having a dirtbike:
1-They're FUN!
2-They're fast!
3-They have an OFF switch
4-They're easy to ride
5-They're not dangerous (unless the person riding it is daring)
6-They're easy to take with you (just tie them in the back of a pick-up)
The Negatives about having a dirtbike:
1-I can't race dirtbikes because the races are always on Sundays and I can't (and don't want to) miss Church
2-If you wreck it, you might have to pay a ton of money to fix it
3-They don't have personalities, they don't talk, and they don't love you back
4-It's expensive to buy one
They're are 6 positive things about owning horses & dirtbikes, and 6 negatives about owning a horse, and only 4 for having a dirtbike. So they're both fun, but dirtbikes are easier.
