I absolutely love cooking and baking and am currently creating my very own cookbook for me to take with me if I ever leave home. Here is a delicious smoothie made from milk, sugar, and peaches. I love peaches! Fruit smoothies are my favorite. ;)
Peachy Smoothie
Ingredients: Milk, 2 teaspoons of sugar, and 1 cup of peaches.
Directions: Pour the milk into an ice tray and freeze. When froze, dump all milk cubes into a blender, adding one cup of canned or fresh peaches, and 2 teaspoons of sugar. Blend until smooth and serve right away. Enjoy! Serves 1 - 2
Strawberry Smoothie
This is the best strawberry smoothie I have ever had! I think it's the vanilla that does the trick.
Ingredients: 2 ice cubes, 1 cup milk, 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt, 2/3 cup strawberries (I think 5 nice sized strawberries is perfect), 1 1/2 tsp. sugar, about 2 tsp. of vanilla.
Directions: Pour into a blender and mix for 50 seconds. Easy! And tastes awesome, too! Serves 1- 2
Chocolate Brownies
There's something about homemade brownies that just makes them taste better! These brownies are my favorite.
Ingredients: 1/2 cup & 2 tbsp butter, 1 cup sugar, 6 tbsp cocoa, 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 cup sifted flour, and 2 eggs.
Directions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Mix ingredients well, bake in greased 8x8x2 pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes. If you like nuts, you can add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts to the batter, too! It makes it crunchy.
Milk Chocolate Bubble Ring
Ingredients: shortening, 20 milk chocolate kisses, 1/4th cup of butter, 2 packages (10 each) of refrigerated biscuits, 1/2 cup of sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon.
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375
2. Put some shortening on a paper towl and smooth it over the ring mold.
3. Put butter in a saucepan to melt.
4. Separate the biscuits. Flaten those into a 3 inch wide circle.
5. Place a kiss in the center of a biscuit and wrap the biscuit around it forming a ball. Pinch edges to seal firmly.
6. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
7. Dip each ball in the butter, and then the sugar.
8. Arrange balls in greased ring mold. Form 2 layers. (if you don't have a ring mold, a plate with a jar in the middle works too)
9. Bake a little over 20 minutes or until the bubble is golden.
10. Cool a minute, turn upside down on a plate, remove the ring mold, and then cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Serve warm and gooey! |
