Hey Y'all!
Just checking in to show my fun summer photos - a vintage party, my parents Scotland trip, my horses, and just good, clean fun.
This is me and my sis - the rebel sisters - all dressed up for my friend's Victorian / Vintage 18th birthday party. If you can spot our pistols, you'll know why we're "rebels" lol.
The skirt i'm wearing is Awesome! my mom found it for me. It laces up the front like a pirate / vintage / victorian / western skirt! I've always wanted a lace up dress or skirt. But it is TIGHT like a corset! It really sqishes ya! My sister's dress is green velvet - my aunt's dress when she was an actress in high school - and it is much like the one Susan Pevensie wore in "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe".

This is us again, showin' off our full dresses and awesome hair do's our mom did - thanks mom! - my sisters is in curls and mine in a twisty "crown".

This is my early Bday present - a vintage fur coat! it also laces up the back. It buttuns up the front - super cute!

Below is Edinburgh Castle - moving on to Scotland trip - these castles are massive!

this is bedlam theatre - They make buildings to LAST - like 100's of years! Whoops! sorry it's sideways!

This is my Papa (mother's father) he is at John Knox's writing table! And all dressed up even makes it better, Papa!

this is my daddy trying on some armor - dad said chainmail is HEAVY! those warrior's must have been buff to fight in this! another sideways one! :/

It's really wet in Scotland - and foggy too. but it Is GORGEOUS. I'm proud to be Scottish!

this is my lil bro on our rope swing - back home - it is about a 15 ft drop! kinda scarry to go on!

Here is a picture of one of my favorite puppies from our batch of 9 - we didn't name her, and we had to sell her. =(
But they were ADORABLE!
My Daddy is holding her.

More puppies! SOOO cute! Need I say more?

Toothless Adorable Lil' Bro!

Horse camp was a Blast, and this is my gorgeous horse I rode! Her name is Miss Nattie Em but I call her Natalie. She's a sweetheart and a diablo all in one!

And while I'm at it . . . >=)
I don't have a good picture of Beau, my Arabian, so I used this look-alike. It really does look exactly like him!
And this is my gorgeous Quarter Horse, Kayro, or Nickerbonker, or just plain 'ol Nicker. He was my first and is the best. I can put my little brother on him and he'll do everything he asks. He's the sweetest guy ever! He actually has some Appaloosa in him . . . notice the spot on his hindquarters . . . and if you could see his socks then you would see chestnut colored speckles. I love him!
And if my cousins, Audry and Alicia see this, I'll say for their sake that Kayro misses them and they need to come ride him some more!

Here is sideways Nicker . . . isn't he handsome?

Well, that's it for now. Tell me what you thought! Hopefully I'll get around to putting more on later.
God bless,
The Maiden |
