Mark 11:22-24
"Have faith in God. For whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."
Satan is trying to steal your faith in every aspect. He wants to steal your faith on healing, on salvation, sanctification, anything he can make you doubt in, even yourself. If you give him an inch, he'll take more than you ever wished for. Do not allow him to discourage you or snitch your faith. Use your shield of faith and quench the fiery darts of the wicked.
Hebrews 11:1
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen."
verse 6 "But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."
Before you recieve what you hope for, you can claim it and believe it will happen by claiming the promises of God.
Romans 8:24
"For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?"
1 John 5:4
"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world; and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith."
Is the Devil sitting on your lap today? Is he whispering on your ear, perched on your shoulder? Then stand up! Testify and make him fall off! Rebuke that discouragment! Get rid of the problem so you can receive the blessing.
Read 2 Kings 6:8-18
It is the story of Elisha and the battle against the Syrians.
Vs. 16 says "Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them."
Elisha means to tell his servents to fear not, because an army of God's angels are with us, and they are much more powerful than those people of the enemy.
We are not alone! God is with us! How many times do you look at a problem, a trial, and all you see is the giant? Yeah, that giant is huge, toweringly massive and buff, tough, B.O. and barbed wire tattoos, he's a real jerk, BUT GOD! Do you see the giant or God? You are going to have to face the giant eventually. You can run, but your still going to have to face it. Face it now with faith!
If you allow human reasoning to work, you can't face that giant. Human reasoning doesn't work towards faith, it will blind you. You must use faith.
Verse 17 says "And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha."
How will think effects our faith. Do you see God's blessings, marvels, and angels around you? Or do you see the giant?
"O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?" -Matthew 14:31
". . . blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." - John 20:29
"Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for Me?" -Jeremiah 32:27
If we don't believe it, we can't receive it.
He will fight all of our battles if we give them to Him, He can make all of our trials end in victory, He has all power and glory, it is His to give. What a blessing! I am resting because He says "I Will"!
Are you keeping God in a jar? Jesus is only as big as you allow Him to be. Let Him work through your faith.
1 John 5:14
"And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us: and if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of Him."
Don't allow your faith to be hindered by the enemy.
"Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of Thy law." Psalms 119:18
