Amusement Parks An amusement park is always fun to visit on a hot summer
pizza. When you get there, you can rent a
hairbrush and go for a swim. And there are lots of
fuzzy things to eat. You can start off with a hot dog on
a/an earth with mustard, relish, and chickens
on it. Then you can have a buttered ear of peanut with a
nice loveable slice of watermelon and a big bottle of
cold water. When you are full, it's time to go on the
roller coaster, which should settle your balloon.
Other amusement park rides are the Dodge-Em which has little
platypus, that you drive and run into other castles,
and the Merry-Go-Round where you can sit on a big Christmas tree
and try to grab the gold Jupiter as you ride past.

Shad, Rack And Benny
Its a sunny after noon at the fiery furnace in Babylon where, I along with hundreds of other witnesses just watched three men, who disobeyed the king's direct orders, get thrown into the furnace and walk out unharmed!!! What a historical day people!! This is the first time in history anyone has ever survived the fiery furnace! The three men are friends of the kings official Daniel. Their names are Shadrach Meshach and Abednego (better known as shad, rack & Benny). They Refused to bow down to the golden statue at the trumpet call . The king ordered the furnace be heated seven times more. He had his strongest guards, who were killed by the heat, throw the three of them in, and, as we watched the event we saw them get up and walk around; not just three, But Four, and the fourth looked like an Angel!!! The King Nebuchanezzer ordered that they walk out Immediately. They weren't even the least bit burnt and didn't even smell of smoke!!!!!!!!!! It is still unclear as to the location of the kings wise man and trusted official Daniel.

Eyewitness Report of Life on Mars...
Hello everybody this is the world famous news reporter NP Overlock reporting live from the NASA launch pad, where, in ten minutes the first Martians ever to come in contact with planet earth are about to land!!!!! Oh look, there they come, in a giant round flying space thingee. I don't believe it!!!! Out they come; big green people like aliens, maybe I can get an interview. Oh!! One's coming for me!!!! I think I'll ask it about that interview.
"Hi mister Martian sir, can I have an interview?" I ask.
"Hello foreign alien being. I'm king Luey king of the U.R.O.M
(: United Republic Of Mars). An interview? Why yes I give tons of em to U.R.O.M galactic news reporters"
"Yea!!!! Wait a minute, you speak English?"
"Duh!! what do you think I'm speaking, Pig Latin?"
"Um...... Lets skip to the interview. I'll get my paper ready"
NP: What's it like on mars?
KL: Its red and slightly chilly.
NP: How chilly?
KL : At the highest its about -31
NP: is it possible to make mars inhabitable?
KL: Unless your a Martian its probably a no.
NP: OK. What do you think of mars.
KL: AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
NP: I should have guessed that, are there any animals on mars?
KL: No.
NP: Are there any plants on mars?
KL: Nope, all the waters frozen, not enough sunlight, air, heat, good dirt... etc.
NP: Are Martians real?
KL:.........................................................................
NP:??????????????????
KL: I'm leaving now!!!

I Just Went Ice Fishing At The Belgrade Lakes
(Long Pond)
AnD iT wAs AwEsOmE
Last Sunday(Feb 18) my big brother, my other big brother, my big brothers friend, Sam, my dad and me went ice fishing at a lake called Long Pond(which is part of the Belgrade Lakes in Belgrade, Maine, United States Of America, North America, Planet Earth, The Milky Way, The Universe)!!!!!!!!
It was a pretty good day with X-Tremely deep snow, and, though it was slightly windy it was about 20-30 decreas F.
My Big brother brought his tennis ball mortar(Totaly Awesome) wHich didn't quite work till we decided to use body spray and soda bottles!!!!!!!
...............And.............Ummm...Hmmm.....Oh Yeah!!!!!!!
I caught two, three & a half pound, 26", Awesome looking pike( Pictures coming soon), and my big brother's friend caught a 15"( I have no idea what it weighed) pike.
I was gonna enter one of my pike in the pike derby 'till I saw that third place was eighteen pounds!!!!!!!!!
Oh!!!!
I almost forgot!!!!!!! My mom wanted me to say somthin' about my big brother's chicken wrap things, so: they were Totaly Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ice Fishing
Last Saturday (Feb.10th) I went ice fishing with my dad, my big brother, and my big brother's friend, Sam, at an Awesome place called Knight's Pond. It was a decent day for Mid-coast Maine: in the mid-twenties, fairly windy and mostly sunny.
My big brother caught a huge pickerel. It was 26" long and weighed around 4 pounds(picture coming soon). Mine was almost as big, but slightly smaller. 
Once we were standing out on the ice and talking then all of a sudden there was big bang, the Whole part of the lake we were standing on shook and a big crack shot right between us(well, not realy big, but at least a quarter inch wide). My big brother was totally freaked out, but it was Awesome!!!!!!!.
My dad said it was just the ice getting thicker, but we didn't quite believe him.

The Life Of A Maine Kid
Hi I'm MaineKid1!!!!!!!!!!
I'm 11 and was born in Maine in '95,
I have three brothers and a sister(annoying!).
I'm a big fan of Lotr(Lord Of The Rings), Narnia, Redwall,
Potc(Pirates Of The Caribean), Xmen,video games,
hiking, Jesus and The Bible.
I've been homeschooled for six years and I'm in fifth grade.
I like history, science(mostly), writing medeival stories and Definately Not Math!!!!! 
I regularly spend my time hiking, doing school, reading,
playing video games/on the computer and voluntering at the YMCA day-care
Oh Yeah and i like smileys!!!!!
