I'll be playing the first movement of this amazing piece tomorrow for another nursing home concert. Such a fun piece to learn and play! Unfortunately it's incredibly hard to master. ;)
Yesterday I got to go to a really cool orchestra rehearsal! ;)
I didn't play this time, but I'm going to join in January! *smile*
“Musicians own music because music owns them.”
"Truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget." - Randolf
"When true friends meet in adverse hour;
'Tis like a sunbeam through a shower.
A watery way an instant seen,
The darkly closing clouds between." - Sir Walter Scott
Friendship is born at that moment when one
person says to another, What! You, too?
I thought I was the only one.
- C. S. Lewis
"Never shall I forget the days I spent with you.
Continue to be my friend, as you will always find me yours." - Ludwig van Beethoven
I'm glad to call you my friend. Thanks for being one. ;) ♥ Emily
Recently Grace and I rediscovered this amazing song called ''Walking in the Air". We had heard it a few years ago in a little animated video about a snowman and the little boy that made him.;-) I know, it sounds really strange, but it had some pretty awesome music! You have to see it to know what I mean.;) Anyway, here is the song sung by Aled Jones. He is from Wales and he sings it as a duet with himself. He sang it as a boy Soprano and later as a Baritone and then he put the parts together. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did!
The other day my sisters, cousin, and I did a photo shoot with some amazing Renaissance costumes at a beautiful creek near our house. The results were pretty neat!

Hello! My name is Emily. Thank you for visiting my blog. I hope you enjoy reading about my daily life and adventures serving the Lord. I love music, and would play almost every instrument there is, if I only had more time. Currently I play violin, piano, some guitar, and can pick out little tunes on my Irish whistle. ;)Thanks for reading!
