Making Space

After 13 years of homeschooling, I have come to the conclusion that what I did right was this: I gave my girls space and God time.
Now, I made mistakes aplenty.
The biggest mistake was being way too busy! For a while I operated on the premise that we should do every available activity just because we could. Being free from the constraints of conventional schooling agendas is exhilarating.
But the opposite extreme is greed. And it is debilitating.
The good news is I did learn from the mistake. God proved gracious. My girls blossomed and grew into the gifts and talents He placed within them.
